As good as the Drug Store
I find these test strips to be as good as purchasing them at the Drug Store....good expiration date (2015), factory fresh and work just fine. Major retail Chains charge over $60.00 for 50 and Medicare pays the retailer $40.00+, so this is a bargain, in all ways. No wonder medical insurance is through the roof when we can purchase through Amazon at under $25.00...go figure.

Test strips on the cheap
Recently diagnosed with diabetes and have to check blood sugar often. Bought a meter and 50 strips from the local pharmacy. These were the same thing at half the price. Even after getting a prescription Amazon is cheaper than buying from the pharmacy. Gotta love that. Shipping was quick and the correct item arrived. The two boxes I received from MySurgicalSupply have the same expiration date, 11/2014 which is more than enough for me. I will buy from them again.

Disappointed in the expiration date on the two I bought
Disappointed in the expiration date on the two I bought. Delivered on 10/01/2016. One bottle was only good through 12/31/2016 and the other 3/31/2017. I won't use them all before they expire.

Too Much Greed...I've Switched
I've used these for a few years now, and the thing I liked about them is that they've made them so they require only a very small amount of blood. Like a half or a third of the amount that was required 5 years ago. But the prices have just been rising and rising to the point where I can no longer justify buying them. They are now charging about double what they cost just 2 years ago. Seriously, there are sane, rational competitors now, like TrueTest that charge a fraction of what Accu-Check does now. Bye Bye Accu-Check! I regret not making the switch a lot sooner, and I won't be back.

Accuracy Remains an Issue, But...
Let me start by saying that I have no problem with the vendor from whom I purchased these strips, Diabetic Corner. They got the strips to me when expected, and they were many months in-date. I would gladly purchase from them again. Having said that... All manufacturers have been coerced by the FDA into using a method (glucose oxidase) demonstrably inferior to one they *could* and did use (the more accurate hexokinase) before the FDA's inappropriate coercion. Because of that, the accuracy of all strips is allowed to be +/- 20%, which is a joke if you're trying to achieve tight BGL control. But the FDA and ADA don't care about that. They just want to protect their doctors from lawsuits. I found with these strips that they are better than the brand I used previously, giving fewer false high readings (when compared with the meter determined through empirical testing to be most accurate). I still prefer the one that came out ahead in the testing. I frequently double-test my AccuCheck meter against the more accurate one, and get readings that are pretty far out (though still within that +/- 20% requirement). It's not unusual to get a reading of 120 on the AccuCheck, while getting a reading of, say, 102 on the better meter. If I then take another reading with the AccuCheck, using the same finger stick, it will give me a reading very different from the first one, and always much closer to the better meter's reading, for example, 105. So, the problem I have is with the FDA and ADA, not the manufacturers or the seller. That having been said, the manufacturer of the better meter is doing *something* right that the others are not doing. I can't say what that is; I only know I'll stick with their product until something better comes along.

Great price.
I needed more of these strips because I have ran out and my insurance company sucks with refills...the Pharmacy wanted to charge $161.32 for a box of 100 and $73 for a box of 50...-_-! I was NOT about to pay for those. So I came on amazon and found these and I have ordered about 2 sets so that I can have them when I run out of the ones that my insurance covers.
