it was too big for my intake manifold, so i had to return it, i did get a full refund, which was nice, if you know this will fit your car or truck i'm positive it will be a great temp sensor as everything ACDelco i've owned has never been a problem.

I was having trouble finding the right sensor for my 1987 Monte Carlo SS. I needed one that was 3/8 npt and this one is 1/2 npt. I had a 1/2 npt hole in my intake manifold and I moved it to that hole. Perfect fit and I checked the temperature and it was perfectly accurate! Really happy with my purchase! Got here overnight also. Don’t know how they do it

Inexpensive way to replace your water temperature sensor is not corroded and/or failing. Easy to replace. I use teflon tape to seal depending on the circumstance and what i have available. Best to do when the engine is cold so no pressure on the coolant system. Take the cap off the radiator to release extra pressure if there is any. If done quickly, coolant loss is minimal so i do not drain my system, but have a shallow pan handy to catch runoff and save a messy cleanup. The sensor comes with the clip that matches its connection point which was helpful in my case.

Purchased and installed a factory instrument panel gauge conversion for my 67 Chevelle. After install the temp gauge was not working. I determined that the temp sensor included in the kit was bad so I bought this as a replacement and it works perfectly. This sensor measures about 550 ohms cold and about 30 ohms hot which is what GM gauges of that vintage require.
