My battery stops holding charge even 10 seconds in 6 months.Seller and Amazon both are not supporting for Warranty. it's more than 2 months and still Amazon giving me deadline again and again.Dell brand also denied the Warranty and they are saying that seller is selling expired batteries and not eligible for warranty . So I recommend, don't purchase this . If you want to operate your leptop for 3 to 5 months than it's fine otherwise better to purchase from Dell official website.

Ordered with a bit of skeptism, as Dell support was not offering any paid service for my out-of-warranty & past-end-of-life Dell laptop Inspiron 5378. Received the product well packed and delivered really well. The delivery guy instructed my apartment gate security to store the package in a shady place as it is a laptop battery (covid restrictions in our apartment mandated that all deliveries will be received at Security gate only) . Kudos to the delivery guy. The package was huge. A huge official DELL carton box- close to 18" x 12" x 4" for a battery that is size of your mobile phone. It was packed in an anti-static bag and sandwiched between a pair of large foam. And the package was not tampered anywhere. All seals were intact. Kudos to the seller and DELL. Opened my laptop panel and plugged the new battery. Then Plugged the power supply and switched ON. Laptop started without any glitch. The BIOS did not report any issues and the laptop started back normally. And charging was as usual. No charging issues unlike the non-oem batteries. Overall I would rate 5 stars for selling Authentic DELL battery (exact model) and good delivery.

I have replaced my Dell Inspiron 14 5482 2 in 1’s battery. Fyi: Model which bends 360 and it comes with a pen. This battery has been a perfect replacement. Services center asked double amount to replace it with 1 week for the order process and then 4 hours of replacement time on the day of replacement. This was my first time replacing the battery and it took me 10 mins and as an extra spend had to order pocket screwdriver set. But it was great experience. Battery worked fine and is still working good. Had a few hiccups with charging and discharging but it eventually got resolved within first week. I think it’s worth investing in. Note: Dispose old battery’s somewhere that will ensure safety. Like responsible electronic shops who care about e-waste. Update: Don't know how much time a new battery works for but this one with normal 8 hours office usage lasted 11 months. PS: Keep the battery connecter safe with you, I recently purchased another battery and the connecter was not there. It cost as much as the battery if damaged.
