This amazon brand pedal bin is fantastic. Positive points: 1. It has a plastic lid but unlike some it is robust and easily copes with knocks. The body is coated metal. 2. Inside the bin there is a lift out bucket that makes emptying easy. 3. The pedal is metal and extends over almost all the front width of the bin. Unlike some bins it doesn't tip forward when it is pressed. 4. The lid has a soft close action and seals well to stop smells escaping. 5. The workings of the bin seem well made and strong. 6. The bin doesn't have awkward shapes or nooks and crannies, making it easy to clean. The negatives (not many): 1. The bucket inside the bin is much smaller than the outside dimensions meaning this is quite a large bin for its capacity. 2. The pedal and connecting workings are all metal except one piece near the lid. It seems sturdy but plastic sections will always be weaker. I bought Th is bin because a previous question/reviewer (can't remember which) said it was all metal; it's not. However, over-all it's a fantastic bin. Most of the others of this size & in the same price bracket had poor reviews. Having used the bin for a month I would definitely buy it again. Update (2 years and 11 months after purchase): Bin still looks like new. The surface is very scratch & spill resistant and I wouldn't change my original review at all.

Purchased this bin a couple of weeks ago and I can say it gets the job done. Both the inside and outside are black and seem to be made out of study plastic. It doesn't look or feel cheap and feels like a product that will last for a long time. My last bin was made of stainless steel and overtime, it started to get little rusty marks here and there that made it look awful. What made me purchase this bin was the fact that it didn't have much stainless steel looking parts, meaning it will look new for a longer period of time. On the inside, the product has a pull-out bin with handles so that it is easy to take out the bag; it also has a hole on the back to tuck in the bag so it's not moving around. It has a "stay open" switch on the inside, on the back of the unit so that you can swap the bags without the lid constantly closing down on you. It also has a soft close feature which is quite nice. The only down-side I've found is the fact that the lid doesn't seem to close down at times. My bin is placed under a counter top and if you open it all the way it seems to stay open so I have to be careful to open it gently so it doesn't stay open. Other than that, I would say it's a good bin. Looks good, gets the job done and seems sturdy.

This is a very nice sturdy bin. It looks smart and neat, it’s easy to use and easy to lift out the thick plastic bin inside to take the bags out. Easy to wipe over and large panel to push down to lift the lid. I am very pleased with it...only downside is the price...quite expensive !!

I just love this bin, its sleek, elegant, sturdy and big enough for 6 of us. I had a soft close one before and we constantly had to wash our hands after opening it was a pain. The foot pedal is of good quality and the soft close lid is an added bonus. The black and silver blend in well with my kitchen. Would highly reccommend this bin. Delivery was fast and bin was well packaged on arrival.

I've had this bin now for 2 months. It's a perfect size. The capacity seems bigger than stated as I've had to get bigger bin liners. The pedal covers the full width of the bin which make.it feet easy to use. The soft close works perfectly. It's a lovely stylish look g bin. I took the risk buying this as not many people had bought it and not so many reviews. I feel AI made the right decision. The reason I've scored it a 4 is the last few days I feel the pedal has a little give in it so just a bit worried about how long its going to last.

To keep the lid open there's a green switch that needs to be pushed to the left to lock the lid. The bin is quite robust but good quality. It looks nice. I would prefer in a beige/cream colour though. One downside, the lid is not so quiet when opening and it opens fast creating a flapping motion back and fro a few times. There's a mentioning about it in the product's description too.

Can a bin be beautiful? This bin looks really smart which is perfect if you can't hide your bin in a cupboard. Soft close lid works perfectly. It has a hidden handle at the back which is slightly awkward for lifting (I think either side would have been better, but not as asthetically pleasing) The insert/inner has a hole to wrap your bin bag through & tighten which is genius, and handles either side to lift it out which makes that job very easy. If you don't insert the inner correctly the bin lid makes a juttering sound so you know to re-align it.

Really good kitchen bin, opens and shuts with ease

Comodo, non escono gli odori e mi sembra robusto. Ovviamente in tutte le cose ci vuole attenzione e delicatezza. Molto elegante sta bene ovunque. Coperchio e base in plastica ma l'ho scelto apposta così perché ho visto altri oggetti simili che con il tempo i coperchi si arruginivano. Silenzioso nell'apertura e nella chiusura.. Solo nel momento dell'apertura respirerete un po' di odori o puzze 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😂 Ha una buona capienza ed i sacchi si mettono e si tolgono molto bene. Anche il secchio all'interno si sfila bene. Prima di fare la recensione ho aspettato e debbo dire che le 5 stelle personalmente se le merita tutte. Peccato che dello stesso modello è marca non ci sia anche doppio.Ho messo sia video che foto e misure. Spero di esservi stata utile.

Was skeptical about paying this much for a garbage can. The reviews were good so I took the chance. Wowza the reviews weren’t lying. This garbage can is wonderful. It’s the perfect size for a kitchen garbage, the step peddle is lovely, it’s not like the cheap ones. The soft close works and is amazing. It’s big and almost square so it’s very sturdy and can’t be knocked over. Seriously buy this garbage can you won’t be disappointed
