GoPro Camera BacPac Extension Cable (GoPro Official Accessory)

Allows functionality by enabling removal of the LCD screen from the camera so you can mount it or secure it elsewhere.

Bought 3 of these. I wasn't sure if they would work together. They do, to a point. The camera's signal isn't strong enough to flawlessly show, without some interference, on the bacpac monitor at the other end of 3 of these. For my needs, it's perfect though. I only need them connected for a few minutes while configuring multiple cameras at an event. The cameras are 12' off the ground and I'm not allowed to climb the ladder. I have to send a union guy up the ladder, connect these to it, then aim it while I direct him while watching the bacpac monitor, then I'll verify configuration before disconnecting and moving on the next one. I'll start all the cameras with the wifi remote.When only using one of these, as the manufacturer intended, they work great. The only reason I removed a star is because they don't stay in good on the back of the camera. Not a problem for me in this use case, but I would not trust it if the camera were moving around a bit.

This is a very convenient for your go pro if you use the camera form a static place

It does what it is technically supposed to do. However, there is no "click in place" mechanism to keep it from coming loose from the camera. We had hoped to mount the camera up high on a fence with a LynkSpyder to record baseball and softball games. Then let the LCD hang from a lower vantage point. However, the weight of the cable will pull it loose. So this didn't work out.

This cable is so thick and stiff, it really makes it impracticable to connect this to the gopro and orientate the camera and cable without pulling the cable out of the GoPro.

This is great for the hero 4 back pack. We turned the screen around and now my son can vlog and see himself!

As advertised. Connected to GoPro Hero3+ and off brand monitor, worked perfect.

Was going to give this 3-stars but the way the extension port is designed on the camera isn't the fault of the cable. I was expecting some kind of mechanical latch that clicks into position similar to the old iPhone port but that isn't the case here. Fits snug on both the camera as well as LCD, but not sure of how many remove/installs this is good for. Adds a touch of versatility for being able to access the extension port without having direct access to the camera (or when not wanting to alter the position of the camera).Took 1 star for the price but that could very well just be me wanting this at a lower price point. If this solves your problems with using your BacPac accessories more conveniently, by all means this will get the job done. Can't really beat GoPro quality for accessories but you will pay a premium obviously. 5-star product, 3-star price = 4-stars? Seems fair enough...
