The sling is so comfortable for the dog. Nothing to cut into the dog’s skin. It is sturdy and well-made for my 100 pound dog. The handles are adjustable so you can alter the lift height to make it easier for the person lifting the dog’s back end.

Who I am: Professional pet sitter Dog/Use case: 40-lb mixed breed with rear-leg weakness (CCL rehab). Used for stair ascents and stand-assist from lying down. Size bought: Medium (per chart), worked, but narrow for this dog. I recommended the owners buy a Large for better belly coverage. What works: The sling slides under easily and the faux-sheepskin lining gives good cushion without hotspots. My client dog accepted it quickly; her confidence and trust clearly improved once she felt secure. The strap adjustments are generous and quick, so I can dial height for different handlers or shoes. Design gripe: The separate little piece meant to hold the two straps together is clunky and easy to lose. This should be sewn onto the straps. Functionally it still works, but it’s an avoidable annoyance. Add a Velcro cable tie or small carabiner as a strap keeper so the handles stay together (and you don’t lose the separate piece). Keep sessions short at first; reward calm standing so the dog associates the sling with safety. Bottom line: As a hands-on lift aid for stairs and getting up, this sling is effective and comfortable. The Medium technically works at 40 lb, but it’s narrow, the Large is the safer bet for many dogs that size. Despite the fiddly strap keeper, I still recommend it for the security it gives both handler and dog.

I don't often do reviews, but I just had to with this one. Our furbaby Lexa was having knee surgery and I went to Amazon for assistance. This sling is a true lifesaver, for her and for me. Before surgery, I had to lift her into the car (80 pound chub chub) and it was a struggle. She couldn't jump due to degraded knee cap. When surgery was on the books, I found this sling to assist with her 12 week recovery period (we are in week 2). This sling has helped in so many ways! 1. To assist in lifting in and out of vehicle 2. Walking her with assistance out to potty and back to bed per doctors orders 3. controlling her when her pain meds kick in and she thinks she is going to just spurt off on a run (BELIEVE ME, it happens alot) it prevents her from hurting herself because she forgets she can't walk, let alone run with her new hardware and knee that is still fusing together and brittle and causing more damage or undoing what the surgery just corrected). 4. It helps me get her in and out of her kennel since she can't put full weight on her leg yet. 5. It helps me get her up after taking a break out of her kennel and resting comfortably next to us in the evenings. 6. It has a dual purpose LOL I toss the handle strap over her head, and hold onto the other end, and it makes for a great harness control so that she feels unconstrained, but I can predict her attempt to get up or off her bed before she can do it. *If you have a senior dog or any age dog, that just needs that little extra help for any reason, GET THIS SLING NOW. I love that I am able to adjust the strap length, depending on if I am taking her out or if my husband is. super easy and doesn't slip loose like some adjustable straps. I is super soft under her tummy, she doesn't object to it at all and when pottying, gives her a comfortable yet sturdy support so that when she goes to posture for pottying, allows her to go without fear of over using her leg. Can't say enough about this product. So if you dog is going into surgery and you need to create a towel sling, my thought is ok, that will work in a pinch but if you are taking your dog out, day and night several times a day, and you have to adjust your posture to allow for a towel to support them, it's going to get uncomfortable for you, and the death grip on said towel, pretty quickly. Love this and as stated, a true lifesaver!

My Labrador is 12 years old and needs steps to get in the truck and the bed and still struggles. This sling has made an amazing difference. Our dog actually loves it too. He waits anxiously for us to put it on. Not only does it make it much easier and secure for him but it’s better on our back!

Had to return because I am not strong enough to pick up my 90lb golden. Probably great for stronger muscles and a smaller pup

This is a very nice sling/harness. It is well made, and lined with a nice padding. It is perfect! It would have been nice to know the width of the pad, as it was trial and error ordering a large which is really for a big dog, at least 40#, so I guessed on the small for my 20# and it was perfect. That is really the only recommendation for the vendor.

Very good to easily and inexpensively help relieve your dogs weight. For us its perfect for helping our older dog up the stairs at the end of the night to go to bed with us. He has ACL problems with his rear legs so this works excellent and helps him get up with ease. He waits for it every evening.

Sem duvidas é o melhor suporte que encontrei, minha cachorra passou por uma cirurgia e ainda esta sem andar 100% sozinha entao procurei muito um acessorio que pudesse me ajudar a carregar ela e que nao fosse incomodo nem pra mim nem pra ela, e esse é de otima qualidade a parte interna é peluciada super confortavel, costuras reforçadas, as alças tem regulagem, indico demais foi um otimo custo beneficio em comparação com outros modelos que achei vendendo, minha cachorra é uma golden de 9 anos e pesa 35kg suportou normalmente, peguei o tamanho LARGE que seria o GRANDE, e chegou antes da data prevista.

Llego en buen estado, lo pedi para mi perrito que ya es mayor y a veces le cuesta pararse. Es de muy buena calidad, por dentro esta calientito y tiene borreguito, tiene una bolsita para poder cargarlo. Lo unico es que la correa de agarre esta muy larga y a veces es un poco incomodo usarla, pero fuera de eso es buen producto
