Sony Media Memory Stick Duo Replacement Adaptor (MSAC-M2)

Works well of all of us that still have the older media devices.

used the adapter for my old Sony camera, and it worked great. at first, I hesitated to purchase because of the comments saying that it wasn't a Sony adapter but rather a SanDisk memory stick. but it was legit and came in its original Sony box. overall found this to be a cheaper option than other adapters found on eBay.

Great product for older Sony Cyber shot cameras requiring Memory Stick Pro for memory to operate with the standard Memory stick slot. Bought this adapter for a 25 yr. old Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1 5.1MP camera to replace the missing Memory Stick Pro 1GB stick that came with it. It snapped right into the stock slot, and allowed me to slip a 16GB memory card into it, drastically increasing the original input. If you don't have a memory card for the adapter buy the package deal, adapter w/ card, and save yourself a few bucks opposed to buying separately. Makes an old camera better than new with a seldom seen viewfinder anymore, and a camera that takes AA batteries, as opposed to a proprietary model specific battery pack. A lot to be said for versatility.

The unit fits in the Sony camcorder but the memory card said to work with it does not and does not seem to be able to format to Sony. Wasted my money

This review is for the MSAC-M2 Sony Memory Stick Duo Adapter for MS Standard Slot. Released in 2004, this Sony camera uses the standard Sony Memory Stick and Memory Stick PRO only. This adapter enables it to use the newer, smaller PRO Duo cards. (Tested with a 2GB Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo, it works) It will also accept a PSP Memory Stick adapter, which enables the use of a standard Micro SD Card. (Tested with a Funturbo PSP Memory Stick adapter, a 32GB Samsung Micro SD formatted and works perfectly) Works as advertised !

So I am not sure what the point of this "adapter" is, but it is not to adapt. An SD card will fit, yes, but the adapter does not fit into anything else - an iMac desktop? Nope. Camera? Nope. An SD card reader with Lightning cable for iPad? Nope. Completely useless and here's the great news - NOT RETURNABLE. Thanks guys!!

I own a great Sony photo printer DPP-EX5. problem is it accepts only the Sony Memory stick Pro. Also this runs on Windows XP program, so good luck trying to connect to your modern PC. So how do I print great quality photos? well this adapter accepts the memory stick pro DUO so i was able to access and print photos from there. so problem solved!

Definitely worth the money.

Did not work with my Sony Handicam....total waste of money

Titulo recibido porque a pesar de que en micuenta pone "con retardo", ya lo he recibido. Esto es algo que tiene que corregir Amazon. Aveces ocurre esto y otras lo contrario. Etiquetan un producto como recibido y no se ajusta a la realidad. Hay lugares donde hay amigos de lo ajeno o extravíos, a pesar de indicar que se haga la entrega con firma, se siguen haciendo envíos, en algunas ocasiones de cierto valor, si verificación de la entrega o aceptando la firma que no es el verdadero destinatario. En una ocasión, un funcionario de Amazón Francia me ha prolongado una gestión y he perdido el derecho a devolución porque se le ha ocurrido que le estaba ocultando la entrega. Volviendo al artículo : correcto y fragil. No lo devuelvo porque es el único medio de adaptar una SD a una de mis antiguas videocámaras. Por tanto satisfecho

Adapter works well. I'd say this one is genuine article, not some Chinese pirate.
