Dickies Men's Performance 11-Inch Cargo Short

Always difficult to find the right pair of shorts for me. I'm 6'1 and now hovering around 210 lbs, and total hit or miss when looking for a perfect fit.38's sometimes fit, sometimes too big. 36's either fit or too tight. I've had several pairs of Dickies, in various sizes, and have had good luck in general.This new cargo short in 36 is perfect for me. Unique, light material is very cool and comfortable. Best part is they look sharp for a cargo short without looking like your carrying around a months worth of change in your pockets, which I've found to be the problem in appearance with most cargo shorts. A slimmer, sleeker short, without big, buttoned flaps on every pocket is what I was looking for and finally found in this pair of cargo shorts. Got three pairs. The material and texture seems to make the colors stand out boldly somehow too. Might not be for everyone, but just what I wanted. I only wish there were more colors.

Good quality material and stitching. Normally wear a 36-38. Got this in a 40, they fit like smaller sizes in other brands. For example, they don't fall down without a belt, even though they are about two sizes bigger than what I wear in most brands. I don't plan or working more than 5 more years until retiring. Hard on clothes (aircraft mechanic) never the less I expect these will last me until I no longer need them!

The quality is great. The material seems lightweight but very durable, even somewhat abrasive. I bet you can walk through briars with these shorts and survive fairly well. Only 3 stars because they are very long and I need to shorten them so they look and fit better. Not a big deal but adds to the price. Pockets are deep and rugged and should be very useful. I expect these shorts to last a long time like all the pants I have made by Dickies. Not sure if I would buy again though. They seem better fitted for someone at least 5'10" which is not me.

I have been looking for shorts like this for years. I wound up using golf shorts for work because of the moisture wicking material. But they could not hold up to work standards and start tearing. These Dickies are so light and breathable but very strong. Wish these came in Navy color. Stains come out easily. Some employers won't allow anything else but Dickies. Personally ALL work shorts should be like this by now since this Tech has been around a while now. 5 Stars.

I picked up these shorts during a special pricing event that made them too inviting to pass up. First of all, they fit exactly as expected. The shorts end just at the knee. The material feels quite light and slick, and seems to resist wrinkling. There are multiple pockets that continue to lay flat after wear, unlike many that sag after being bunched up. I'm very happy with them so far.

I'm 6'1", 210lbs and 34 waist. Size 34 fits perfectly. Stops too short about the knee. The material is a rugged but lightweight 'rip stop' type and comfortable. Even though they have cargo pockets, true to Dickies form, there's still the extra cellphone pocket!Normally 11" inseam is TO the knee for me, not above it.Good, comfortable shorts but too short for my taste. I'll be buying he exact same shorts in 13" length!

a little small but quality of material and stitching is of Dickies quality which is higher than some other brands, the material is 63% cotton and 33% nylon but the material feels more like nylon and doesn't breathe all that well

I love these work shorts. Extremely comfortable. These Dickies all fit the same: once you know your size, you can feel confident they will be alike. I have 4 pairs and will get more. Only drawback: the pockets on the cargo shorts get caught on drawer & cabinet pulls.
