ASICS Men's 5-Inch Distance 4-Way Stretch Shorts

This would have been a five star - but there is only one tiny pocket - and difficult to access - maybe okay for car keys. Interestingly, I've never had shorts without reasonable pockets - certainly one large enough for one's wallet. So for me this is unsatisfactory - but the quality is there, the fit and length are just fine.

Fits and fill perfect.I have no issues with the inner liner riding up.Shorts also have on front key pocket and three rear pouches. I keep my house keys in the front and car keys, since they have a remote, in the rear pouch.That leaves room for one or two gel packs if needed. I have also used the rear pouches to store water cups during races, instead of just tossing them on the ground and making the volunteers clean them up after I have grabbed water during a race.

Fits and feels fine, for a while. However, since I routinely do 5+ mi on elliptical + jog a few miles + lift, the inner mesh gives me a rush (abrasion), which takes a few days to heal. Pretty unpleasant. I might use some athletic trunks, but this kind of defeats the purpose.

Outstanding shorts. They are very light, fit perfectly, and stay in place without excessive pressure from the elastic band. The back pockets are ideal for a key pouch with my driver license, and the envelop design seems very safe. A smartphone wouldn't fit though, but I much prefer an armband for that anyway.This is my first piece of clothing from Asics and it will not be the last.

The only complaint is the back pocket is way too small for a smartphone, so you'll need a belt or band for that.

My husband is 5'4" tall and has a difficult time finding shorts that are not down past his knees. These are nice, have a pocket for keys, etc. they wash well and have held up well. He is happy with them.

Very good material and comfort, Asics always provide very good products, and the price fort this item is a really good deal.

Light and comfortable. I use them for training and racing. They work great in a recent marathon. I like the three pockets under the waistband across the back of the shorts for holding multiple gel packs on longer runs.
