Will fit any town car, grand marquis or crown Victoria with EATC. Solves blower issues
I installed this is a 1999 grand marquis. My car has electronic automatic climate controls. Meaning I have a digital display climate control system. The part works well. The install is a bit of a pain but not terrible. If you have an intermittent issue with the blower not functioning then more than likely this part is the thing you’ll need. This part will fit any grand marquis, crown Victoria or Lincoln town car with EATC.

2002 Lincoln Town Car - appears to be an exact match to the part I removed
Installed this on a 2002 Lincoln Town Car. Replaced the original part because the blower motor worked 3% of the time on high only. Before ordering this part, be sure to verify your blower motor works (quietly) by disconnecting the blower motor jack (2 wire connector) and connect the blower motor directly to the battery. Should spin quietly and freely. Installation was a pain. Ended up removing both heater hoses at the firewall to acess the (2) screws that connect this part to the firewall/vent opening. Then I had to completely remove one heater hose because I couldn't get the part out after removing the (2) screws. After installation blower motor blows at various speeds as it should according to selecting the fan speed control position on the climate control unit in the center of the dash.

Works but plug hard to connect
This my fan issue in a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis. It fit in the mounting well though the plug socket in the unit was slightly different in size than the original Mexican manufactured one. This discrepancy resulted in difficulty in inserting the plug into the socket that was overcome by 'brute force'.

Perfect replacement and $36 cheaper than O'Reillys and Auto zone.
Exact same as original part. Easy to install, didn't need the wiring harness. Don't really see why you would need a wiring harness, it has a plug, it's a little hard to disconnect the plug for the first time after being in place so long and you'll have to disconnect the heater core hose to remove and replace the module. Heater core hose was super stuck but I worked it with a small pair of channel locks and BOOM! We got air people.

Defective
The part was correct for my 2004 Crown Victoria but the plug input was molded incorrectly somehow and does not allow the oem female plug to push in. I am not able to use it.

Blower motor acting up?
My heat/ac blower was all over the place. Would not obey commands. This is the cause. Tough tight spot on the firewall so go slow. But replace this and all back to normal again.
