Vargo Titanium Water Bottle, Green Lid

Great bottle, great customer service from Vargo on a minor issue I had. This bottle has quickly become my favorite!

I bought the two for a light weight bicycling water bottle as well as for backpacking. Bicycling, one cannot use two hands to open the screw cap to drink; and even when one is backpacking, one hand holds my trekking poles while I guzzle, so putting on a one handed operation cap was absolutely essential. I posted the question, and got a response about the measurements..Well the Klean Kanteen cap DID SCREW in easily but the threading was VERY different; and the bottle diameter was just a mm or two wider, so water gushed out. The bottle itself is fine if one likes screw caps. The company should just do what 99.9% of the other bottle (of the sub half gallon) makers have done-make them compatible with Klean Kanteen caps! Easy! If the maker just REALLY wants to be different, make it externally threaded (or NON threaded with a cork cap profile slant) and include cork caps! (not being sarcastic! I actually have a very old Al./cork capped water bicycle water bottle and this works VERY well and is CRAZY light).

Wicked good bottle, get one! 10 stars! Wish it was priced lower... This bottle goes everywhere with me now! Holds the beverage of a warrior - water and does not leak. This replaced a larger double walled hydroflask. No concerns about temperature or noises, I haven't had any of the issues mentioned in other reviews... Another reviewer provided (common sense) solutions to any issues others may have had... This is a lightweight single walled container. Update 2022: Still my go to water bottle! She’s accumulated some stickers and a dent, but she is always with me. Trusted part of edc, use it literally all the time!

It's only the second day of using this bottle, but I love it. I had finally decided to move away from plastic Nalgene bottles for my daily use. I would have liked to use glass, but that's just too heavy and fragile to carry on my public transport commutes. I seriously considered stainless steel, but I can be really sensitive to metallic tastes. This titanium bottle with a green (my favorite color) lid is great. No tastes, very light-weight, and the bottle looks and feels good. The only thing I have to get used to is screwing on the lid. Sometimes, you get that slight "chalkboard scraping" feeling, but not so much that it bothers me. I'm debating if I should get the titanium lid to be completely plastic-free... So far so good. I'll update this review if anything comes up.

Lightweight and more durable than I expected. Very neutral flavor unlike plastic or stainless steel.

it's poor made, obviously with poor fabrication process and outside is rough, the cover is not easy to screw in, totally not worth the money and I order a green one some how delivered a black one

expensive but I figure it will last forever. so... I camp a lot and its nice to have a few fancy pieces that you can keep for years and maybe pass on to another generation.

Super light product. Can be used on a fire (unlike stainless) to heat water. Great delivery and customer service. Recommend this product.
