The Right Choice Bought May 26, 2015, reviewed Oct. 9, 2015. This reflex bag is proving itself to be a durable, versatile, top quality reflex bag. Even people who expressed disinterest have been spontaneously pummeling it. Gravel in the base is working very well to keep it upright and stable. With gravel the total weight is 40 pounds. No one volunteers to carry it up a flight of stairs but it can be moved. A spring at the top of the base of the stand, instead of at the bottom of the bag, briefly took some getting used to but gives the bag more adjustability and responsiveness than the more stationary bag punched at a local store. And this eemore bag has a really good feel, with or without the one-size-fits-most gloves that are included. The bag has needed to be re-inflated occasionally just like a basketball, but not so often as to be inconvenient. The pump that comes with the bag makes it easy. For legwork, the minimum height of 41 inches from the floor to the bottom of the bag is a challenge for less limber people here, so most have been jogging around the bag as they punch it for an additional cardiovascular workout. One torso twisting puncher appears to be getting a better core toning workout than others who move shoulders and arms only. The bag accepts lighter, repetitive impacts of long duration and far more energetic impacts equally well. After nearly five months it is showing no signs of wear. . The company, eemore, has been responsive to questions, returned phone calls, and made themselves available to ensure no customer regrets. eemore's customer service is like amazon.com at its best, PLUS the one-on-one help of real, knowledgable people. The included setup instructions and online photos at eemore's site made assembly easy. And it has been good to know eemore people really are available if there had been any difficulties. One locking washer was accidentally lost in assembly, an inexpensive fix, and one that could have been prevented here by keeping even better track of the little parts while assembling. Despite buying this online, so unable to see it and try it out first, it has proven to be a great purchase. This is a product from a company that truly likes satisfied customers and doesn't just say so, and is a quality bag that is proving itself to be worth every dollar, is a good workout and a lot of fun, and will be for a long time to come, Would the bag in the store that wasn't eemore be the same? It was still for sale.

I love this punching bag speed ball. The package was very light and easy to take up four flights of stairs so I'm very grateful for that. I got this because I wanted to focus on exercising more and practicing my punches but I couldn't get a heavy bag as it would be too much work getting it up all the stairs so this was the perfect thing. It works great, I use it every day. I find it to be very sturdy and reliable. This thing comes in pieces so you'll have to put it together but it's honestly quite simple and easy, comes with instruction and everything that's needed, including an air pump for the ball, and it even comes with gloves. You do have to put either sand or water into the base stand, or whatever will work for you to keep it in place and stop the whole set from moving around while you're heating the ball. As it states, the bar is adjustable and works quite nicely for me. Overall I'm incredibly please with this product so far, and I've had it for about 2 weeks now. I use it every day, and am not gentle with it but it has yet to show any wear or tare. Definitely recommend it for anyone who's interested in a fun workout for whatever reason, as I am having a lot of fun using this.

Okay, this is actually a fairly decent product for the price, but I have not had it very long. The text in the instructions, about not puncturing the inner bladder of the bag while blowing it up, makes it seem like you should not insert the needle all the way into the hole... but what you should do is: - Dip the needle in water, and start to insert it. - It will go in very easily at first, and then you will meet resistance. - Grab the body of the plastic needle hole with your thumb and and index finger, pull up and away from the center - Push the needle in slowly, past the resistance, until you feel it "pop" thru the other side - Nearly the entire length of the needle will be inserted into the hole. - Start Pumping and Voila! The rest of the set up is pretty easy, although the pictures of the separate washer parts are not very apparent. Still set up fairly quickly after the bag fiasco... I filled mine with water, which works very well, but I have med-high carpet in my apartment, so that really helps keep it in place. Its definitely noisy, and I could see rust all on the inside of the spring on the base pole. The outside looks fine, but its very odd that there would be rust on the inside of the metal upon opening. The makes me think that the metal probably has some fatigue and won't last as long as I would like, but I'll have to be careful with it. Also, one of the plastic packages was open and a few parts were strewn around the box, as well as the base plug, which was removed for some reason. AND, when I put it together, it was already leaning about 3° - 5° to one side. They give instructions on how to fix the fatigue lean, but that's only suppose to happen after heavy use from one side, without rotating. I had never used it before, and am starting to wonder if being "Tested by rigorously being bent to the SAME POINT OVER 120,000 times" is actually more harmful to the end user experience, than it is helpful. I mean, they give instructions not to overuse one side, but yet prior to you even getting the equipment, they've simulated you doing exactly what they said not to do, for a period of what would probably equate to a few weeks or a month (depending on use). The gloves that come with the unit are a complete joke. Honestly, if they didn't have that plastic bar in the middle of the hand, then they would make decent oven mitts. I bought these instead - Everlast Mixed Martial Arts Heavy Bag Gloves (L/XL) Even with all that, its still not a bad buy for $89.00 with free shipping. Good enough to increase your reflexivity & coordinatory skills. Do not buy if you do not live on the first floor. Your neighbors will probably hate you. -------------- I will come back and change this review at a later date, should my opinion of this product change.

Very well made... use sand if you can .... if you use water you may knock it over. Very satisfied with it.

Lasted 3 months then broke. The part where you screw it in to the bottom completely just snapped off. Looks like it was stripped, wear and tear from punching bag going back and forth. Expected it to last long than 3 months

It was very easy to assemble. I would recommend adding sandbags to help steady when using

sending it back. its very slow on rebound, even on fast setting. even with the base filled with water it rocks off the floor every punch. don't waste your money

Do not buy this item. Broke on first use (bolt snapped sheer-off), nearly took my nose out. Amazon refused to refund without processing a return. Only problem was, every return request lodged had no driver turn up to pick it up. Drop off return - every provider refused to accept the parcel. Amazon support were not helpful initially, but reluctantly refunded me without returning it after much complaint. Avoid if you punch at any level greater than a ten year old girl.

its better with sand, the one i have leaked like crazy! made a big mess. but, after replacing the water with "play sand" this reflex bag is great. a 44lb bag of sand cost me $8 after tax at the home depo. you will also need a funnel to help pour the sand into the base. you can easily find funnels at canadian tire, the bigger the better. the one i used was only $4 and was for meant for oil changes but worked great for sand. for extra weight, i would recommend getting one of those "umbrella base, sand bags". the one i bought holds up to 85lb of sand. it cost $30, there are cheaper sand bags but they won't hold as much weight. it will get messy, so do all of the sand pouring outside. but, still have your vacuum cleaner handy to suck up the excess sand when you bring everything inside your house. lastly, to cut down on noise from the rod vibrating and rattling. i recommend, wrapping the rod and the plastic base on the ball with plumbers rubber tape. i used "magic wrap" from canadian tire. $12 but worth it, now when i punch all i hear is the actual ball. keep in mind, if you end up wrapping the rod with rubber tape. you will not able to adjust the height, without first removing the rubber tape. i know all this seems like allot of extra work and slight bs... but well worth it!
