Good stuff. Repaired a few wind chimes i had for years. Seems like the only original that las a very long time.

Perfect cord for repairing my windchimed. Exactly as stated in description

The 1.5 mm nylon cord is very strong and a good replacement for the bulkier 550 paracord in lighter duty applications. I use it for hauling amateur radio antennas into trees and for clothesline and for hauling a bear bag into a tree when ultralight camping. There are cords with higher tensile strength, much greater abrasion resistance and higher working temperature - Spectra, Dyneema, Kevlar, etc. If you don't need that extreme performance, this nicely braided nylon cord is much easier to use. It can be cut with a knife or scissors, the end can be heated with a lighter or match to flame seal the end instead of needing to use adhesive lined heat shrink and then having a fat end that catches when tying and untying knots. This nylon cord rolls or hanks very easily and unwinds without kinks or unintentionally knotting, and when you want to tie a knot it is secure.

The string broke on our wind chime, so instead of throwing it away I decided to purchase this string and rebuild it. The string was the right size, easy to cut, I melted the ends of the cord after cutting it, and also melted it a bit after tying a knot. It’s seems like a strong cord, I hope it holds up to the weather.

I use for my cross necklaces then hand them out to people in nursing homes and everywhere that I go.

Excellent! This is perfect for replacing the pull cord on aluminum mini blinds. It is not stretchy, so it carries the weight of the blinds just like the original cord did. I just tied it to the end of the bad cord that I was removing so that it would thread through the blinds exactly the same. Worked like a charm!

The rolls of all the thread colour are not of the same length, some spools are less than the others, especially the bright ones. That's sad. Otherwise the quality is good.

Just what I wanted/ordered - 1.5mm shade cord. I now have enough to go into business - certainly more than I needed to repair one venation blind!
