Mi Induction Heating Rice Cooker (EU-version), White

I go through rice cookers every few years, usually element burns out or something. This time I thought I'd give induction a go as the last one whilst only 20 mins to cook was nothing to rave about. This one makes the rice just right. The bonus of the wifi to set it cooking when you're not in the house is great! OK it takes 40 to 60 mins to cook but the flavour and texture really is superb. I don't usually spend so much on a rice cooker but it definitely improves it compared to other cookers I've had. If there's one minor gripe it's the white led segments are hard to see especially if you have a window nearby. Other than that you're Able to the progress on your phone and get notified when it's done.

Great machine. Easy to use and clean. The right size for generous portions for family of four.

Seems well made, and looks really nice. 1st cook resulted in decent rice ( Japanese ) Plastic smell during cooking, hopefully this will go away after few uses. Nice thick rice bowl. App seemed VERY intrusive. Did NOT come with a UK plug. Luckily I had spare to use ( kettle lead type )

Funciona de manera intuitiva. He cocinado el arroz y la arrocera está impecable, queda muy limpia después de su uso. Con el programa de 40min el arroz sale cocido. Tienes la opción de guardar una opción de tiempo a tu elección y lo guardas como favorito, si quieres cocinarlo en tiempo inferior porque te gusta al dente la cocción. Trae accesorio para cocinar al vapor. Teclado de la máquina en inglés y aplicación en mvl en español. De momento solo hay 4 recetas para seguir, espero lo vayan ampliando. Desde la aplicación mvl se puede seguir el proceso de cocción, apagar o poner en marcha la máquina. Yo he preparado además de arroz, pasteles, tortilla de patatas. Ahora quiero probar el pan. Muy contento con la compra.

I use it for 3 days now and am super happy about it. It has 2 main functions, rice & confers which is perfect for my household. The bowl inside is black and I like it a lot since it is very sturdy. The con might be the weight and size because it's bulky and heavy. However, I like how it looks on my kitchen top, white and simple. Easy to use and you can connect it to their Mi App to control it

E un ottimo cuociriso. Il riso viene molto meglio che da un cuociriso tradizionale. Ho fatto pure un risotto ed era ottimo. L'unica pecca e che nella versione europea ci stanno solo 4 ricette mentre in quella cinese un infinita. In piu in quella cinese puoi shegliere il tipo di riso (basmati, s.andreas etc.) mentre in quella europea c'e solo riso universale. Forse sarebbe pure bello avesse un tempismo piu basso circa 15-20 min per basmati, cosi da essere un po al dente. Ma questi sono dettagli. Devo dire il sapore del riso e netamente migliorato, in piu non si attacca minimamente, i chicci sono perfetti, compatti. Costa non poco, ma sono contento dell'aquisto. Io lo consiglio.

Review: This rice cooker is the best product I have bought this year. You put the rice up to measure 2 and then you also add water to measure two. It stops automatically when it's done so no more burnt rice. It is just as cooked on all sides, maintains the flavor, the "pot" is simple to wash and it has the best minimalist and clean design in my opinion. I do not find anything wrong with this rice cooker, if it brakes I will buy it again. There are users who use rice cookers for all kinds of food. I only use it with rice because I don't want oil from other foods to get into places in the machine and I don't want to discolor the clean white color it has, so I don't have any feedback on something other than rice.

The Xiaomi Mi Induction Heating rice cooker can cook rice well compared with traditional heat coil rice cookers. The quality of cooked rice is very good using both "Rice" & "Quick Rice" options. Additionally, the price is very cheap & competitive. It has also got the Wifi connectivity connected using the Mi Home app. There is very little documentation on how to connect the rice cooker to my home Wifi network. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.
