I really like the color of this lipstick. Plumrose is a soft mauve-pink shade that looks very natural and flattering for everyday wear. The formula feels creamy and smooth on the lips and doesn’t dry them out. The pigmentation is good and it applies evenly in one or two swipes. It also has a light scent that fades quickly after applying. It’s not extremely long-lasting, but for the price and comfort it’s still a nice lipstick to keep in your daily makeup routine.

I’m absolutely in love with this lipstick! The bronze shine gives my lips a gorgeous glow that catches the light perfectly — it’s bold but still super wearable for everyday looks. The texture feels smooth and creamy, and it doesn’t dry out my lips like some metallic shades do. Plus, it lasts surprisingly long without needing constant touch-ups. This lipstick is a friend's favorite brand. I was so glad to find it in the shade she prefers. It is a good quality product that goes on easily and gives lasting color.

The quality and price are great, but the tubes of lipstick always come individually wrapped in a white label that leaves a persistent sticky residue when peeled off. This collects powder, etc. from the other items in your makeup drawer, is unsightly, and feels icky to the touch. You have to use Goo Be Gone to remove it, which is a problem in itself since that goo remover leaves a strong, lingering scent that isn't pleasant.

I bought a handful of different Milani lipstick brands and the orange gina was one among them because I love orange and orange-based red lipsticks. Once I read the reviews for this one, it was a no brainer for me. When I first applied it, however, my very first reaction was that I didn't like how it felt on my lips. I usually buy glossy or creamy lipsticks which I have to, due to my very dry, easily "chapping" lips so this more matte version felt dry and grainy. Note though, that it only felt grainy but didn't look grainy. Another reviewer mentioned "rusty" which is probably what I am talking about, in different words. Also, with one coat, the orange gina didn't add much oomph to my skin. I am fair-skinned but not pale fair. For reference, the classic ivory CoverGirl foundation is what works on me. Having said that, I found it interesting that the lipstick gave out subtle gold sparkles with just one coat. It took me coating it 3 times to get it's full shimmery effect. This color is quite hard to explain. It's definitely orange but with golden shimmery undertone. I am not the kind of gal who likes nude lipsticks, I like my lips to pop so I decided to add a colorless gloss over the 3 coats of orange gina, and voila! That created the effect I was looking for! Also, the grainy effect on my lips disappeared when I added the gloss. I don't know if the grainy effect is a manufacturing thing or it feels grainy on people with drier lips like mine, but whatever the issue, goes away with just one coat of added gloss. One of the pictures is of me with just the 3 coats of orange gina in indoor lighting and the other is with the 3 coats + 1 coat of colorless gloss in outdoor lighting. I really like the effects of this lipstick with the gloss. It makes me feel sexy without being flashy. Also, I'm an artificial redhead and this color complimented my hair. I wore this to an interview (not a job interview) and felt very confident.I think this is one of the kind of colors that will go with any skin color and will definitely pop for ladies with medium to dark skin. I strongly recommend this lipstick to all ladies as I think its a color that will work on all skin tones and can also be made to look subtler or grander with gloss. I hope my review was helpful.

This is not a bad color or a bad formula, but it is Very Disappointing (which I should be accustomed to with Milani lipstick). For one, I find the Milani lipsticks on a the drier, dehydrating side of lipsticks. I've heard others describe them in more hydrating terms, but that has NOT been my experience. While not excessively dehydrating, these are very far from hydrating. While I do not enjoy that, I wasn't surprised as this is on par with other Milani lipsticks I own, and I do consider the texture wearable. My biggest disappointment was the color. It is not as pictured or expected, and I begin to feel that many of the colors from this line favor cooler skin tones. They rarely seem to flatter me. While Milani lipsticks have a tendency to swatch and wear exactly as they look, I was judging by a photo and a memory of seeing it in store, and the photo of this color is not wholely accurate. The best way I can describe this look on my lip is to say it looks grey. Pairing it with a more colorful lip liner changes the affect and makes it wearable, but the stand alone result was a little corpse like---and not just in the "it's a nude lipstick and not everyone can do nude lipstick." It has a grey undertone that is unflattering. Also, my lipstick arrived nicked and just beginning to melt. I honestly meant to contact Amazon about a return, but I sort of forgot, so I decided to try it. You live and learn, I suppose, but I regret my color choice.

Milani are right on top of their formula game with these matte lipsticks, i absolutely love them and will continue to purchase them until i have each of the shades. The formula is extremely comparable to macs matte lipsticks which i think is crazy considering these are a third of the price. The pigmentation is on point, the colours i have so far are beautiful and they last well on the lips if you dont consume anything oily! I am also in love with the packaging and think that they look really expensive on display so they sit next to my mac lippies! I actually moved some other high end lipsticks out of the way to make room for these because they are so beautiful. Highly reccomended affordable lipstick that performs like a high end product.

Another really pretty shade from milani. I love their formula. It glides on nicely and stays put for a few hours before wearing down. Love love love! Highly recommend any of these lipsticks. A little swatch of the product itself.

My favorite ever!! I bought a lot of lipstick in my life, and not the cheapest, great brand lipsticks at 40$ at sephora. But my mother gave me this one, and i totally fell in love!! Such a great color and it's stay on as much as the faciest lipstick! I hate lipsticks that are shinny and gooey, and this one is definetly not like that! It's mate, and soft. I like puting it on because it's smell like white chocolate! Really! And I'm not worry to kiss my boyfriend with this lipstick. If I could, i would tattoo this color on my lips. I bought 3 pack of the same color because I'm so in love with it, and I don't want to run out. I don't usually go crazy about a lipstick... i don't know what's happening! But it's been a year and I still love it and wear it every day.
