Really good puzzle game
My 6 year old son loves this game. By far his favorite on the Wii. It is difficult for him, but he is able to complete most of the levels on his own. It is a good concept, and well implemented, although some of the more difficult levels are just frustrating. Have not spent much time with the "bowling" and "battle" mini games, but we have had hours and hours of fun with Vertigo.

Looks Easy, But Isn't
Perhaps I just don't have the magic touch required to get this game going. A friend and I tried it out and quickly grew frustrated with it; it is VERY difficult to get the ball rolling using the Wii remotes, the balance board is a bit easier but still VERY CHALLENGING. I wish I'd not bought this one b/c it will require too much time to master the basics of game play. Loved the idea of this game...but will probably trade it in.

FRUSTRATING!
this is a very good Marble Mania type of game with excellent controls. I just found the game to be too difficult to master. for the price, it's a good buy. make sure you use the wrist strap though, because you may throw the Wiimote at the TV. trust me on that part ;-) I have tried it with the balance board and the game responds very well to the balance board. I couldn't keep up, although I sat down on the balance board and did very well. If you are an expert with the Wii balance games, I highly suggest this game.

challenging Balance board game
I started with the Wii fit plus and like the table tilt game. I have marble kornicopia and Monkey Ball Step and Roll and like them a lot. So i bought this and not sorry i did! I love the challenge. I play the games only with the balance board. I would rate them as: 1) Marble saga Kornicopia as Beginner 2) monkey ball step and roll as advanced player. (very challenging) and 3) Vertigo as expert vertigo seems to be more responsive to slight movement on the balance board. Also you really get a workout.

Gawd Awful
Maybe you have to have the balance board which I don't, but with the wii remote it is horrible. Standing still is pointing the remote at the screen, holding it completely level, pointing it to the floor controls going forward, then rotating it left or right is what makes you turn. pointing it to the floor moved you backward. I have never seen such a terrible way to control motion. Its hard to control, the whole game is racing over the tops of building on walkways you constantly fall off and have to restart. Don't buy. Bad techno music, no matter how low you turn it, you want to turn it lower.

Not a bad mostly 3rd person balance game
Gameplay Style Unlike the Kororinpa games (Marble Mania & Marble Saga) or Super Monkey Ball where you tilt the environment like a classic wooden labyrinth game, this you move the ball itself like the Marble Madness on the NES from the 80s. Control Types/Music The music is mostly Techno, you move through worlds with your driver in your orb/ball like your traveling through them. Simple wii remote tilting, the balance board is WAY too sensitive & you'd have to be a tai chi master to use it. Customization/Controls You can customize your orb in terms of color of the middle, sides & hatches & lines with great textures unlocked from the beginning. You also can collect small pink orbs that are on the path or off the path that give you power to customize your max speed, acceleration, traction, air control, bounce, brake (you have a brake button), etc. you can customize the levels of where you want the power to be anyway you want & you can change it at every level. Now, what's great is that the controls work VERY well & are very sensitive which makes this game challenging. This isn't a game you will be able to breeze through or for little kids. Extra Modes You can play any level at any time in practice mode. This game also has bowling (youtube video authors some loved it), but I hated it, I didn't feel the physics were good. This game also has multiplayer shooting as well as a soccer like games using orbs. Conclusion I got this at first because it was more a third person cam, but when you turn left/right, then your are viewing the orb from the side & it reminded me too much of Kororinpa marble saga which I already own & this doesn't have happy/cheerful feel though. This is not shovel ware at all, but it could still use a lot of tweaks.
