Great value
Going on 2 years using this charger and batteries for our office, we are completely satisfied with this purchase. Batteries hold charge very well. Recently I tested it out on a battery operated item using 3 AA batteries with an auto on schedule of 6 hours. Regular batteries were dying out after one week but these rechargeable batteries didn't start to die out until 12 days later. Great product.

Not Lithium Ion
I was drawn by the low price and did not read the specifications carefully. That’s on me. As NiMh batteries they are very good. They charge quickly. The jury is still out on longevity because I received them recently. All in all still a good buy.

I read all of the reviews so that you don't have to!
Here is a combination of my personal experience and a summary of the other reviews: Top Positive Aspects: - Performance Satisfaction: Customers are generally very happy with the charger and batteries, noting their fast charging capability and efficiency. - Cost-Effectiveness: The rechargeable nature of the batteries is appreciated for its potential to save money over time, as users don't have to frequently purchase disposables. - Versatility and Convenience: The ability to charge both AA and AAA batteries in the same charger is a highlight, offering more flexibility for different devices. - Durability: Several reviews mention that the batteries retain their charging capacity well over extended use. - Ease of Use: Proper insertion of batteries into the charger is seen as simple and straightforward, contributing to a positive user experience. Top Critical Aspects: - Battery Swelling: A notable concern is the swelling of batteries, with a few cases of failure after several charging cycles. - Charge Duration: Some users express a wish for the charge to last longer, though they still find the product to be overall satisfactory. Overall Impression: The product receives a lot of positive feedback for its efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and convenience. The majority of users seem satisfied with their purchase. However, there are some concerns about the longevity and reliability of the batteries, particularly regarding swelling. These reviews suggest that while the product is generally reliable and useful, potential buyers should consider these factors in relation to their individual needs and usage habits.

Great price for them.
I got these for my gf as she's never had rechargeable batteries. She has several devices that use AAA batteries and was down to about two. I said you should have rechargeable ones so you don't keep spending money on disposable batteries. It came with a few pleasant surprises. The best being was the batteries came with little boxes that held 4 in each. Nice way to store them if not being used. They took longer than expected to charge even though they came with a charge but that's ok. The lights go from solid red to solid green when ready. I tested them when fully charged and they didn't charge all the way to full. I know that they need a good two to three charges to get broken in and able to receive a full charge. So this may be jumping the gun but I think theyre going to work out great. One of the best things was the inexpensive price

Update to my original post....
I purchased the set of 16 batteries and the charger on October 18ths 2019 and so far, I have had 4 of the 16 batteries completely fail... it is like they just short out can not charge them at and they are just showing up DEAD. Very disappointing on this failure rate. In the past, I had purchased the batteries with out the charger and didn't have the same issue. If you think of it.. .I have a 25% failure rate so far. The charger seems to be working fine on other batteries so far. UPDATE: 3-12-20 I wanted to update the status of my communications with EBL and Jackson in Customer service, EBL reached out to me when I originally posted my issue... they were very good to work with and offered to replace the batteries that failed no questions asked. I have not had any other batteries show an isssue and I"m confident Jackson solved my issue. From time to time products have issues... doesn't matter what it is, I evaluate the company and how they take care of their customer when a problem arises and I have to say EBL - Jackson was very quick to contact me and solve my issue with out question. I will continue to buy EBL products as I now know they stand behind their product!
