Sometimes we simply need a good laugh. This movie is extremely funny. At the same time it chronicles the struggles a young man as he faced, in early adulthood, his challenges. His Father was impressive, and brilliant and funny. The love felt real. The whole movie delivers on comedy while at the same time carries a dramatic undertone. We loved it. An honest look at life
If this was made in todays society it be destroyed by woke and cancel culture, however this was a realistic look at life in the 90’s and through the eyes of the main leads. From uncertainty for the future, gang violence, the consequences of dealing, even facing facts on what it means to stand up for yourself without resorting to murder Friday is one of the most relatable movies even if it’s a comedy it hits close to home and Ice Cube’s acting is the best you can ask for here next to Boyz N’ Hood.

I liked the movie it was funny. Bought it cause husband wanted it. Didn’t like that took so long to receive it. Lots of other orders take like two days and this movie took over a month.
