It works great, do not forget to OIL THE TOOL before using it. (AND WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND GLOVES AT ALL TIMES, AND EVEN A DUST MASK.) TO KEEP DUST FROM TOUR NOSE AND MOUTH. It is a great tool to work with and easy to use, takes 90 pounds of pressure to use.(GREAT TOOL). Jim in Ohio

Received my DeWalt Air Chisel today, and it appears I got the tool I was hoping for. The lack of reviews and inability to find any support documentation on the manufacturer site made me a bit apprehensive and I was hoping i wouldn't receive a box with a DeVValt tool instead. I have yet to use the tool so I will reserve any comments on performance until after I have a chance to put it into action, but based on the weight, feel and appearance of the product I am satisfied thus far. I've attached some pictures of the packaging, included accessories and tool for those who may want a bit more clarification on what they're getting. I will edit review after I have the chance to put it in action.

Removed all the large thinset from the tile on the subfloor. We then followed up right behind the air chisel with a dewalt angle grinder to remove the remaing thinset. Made thw subfloor look like new. Just be sure to have an air compressor that can run the chisel.

This is okay for small jobs. Make sure you have powerful enough compressor. It takes a lot of air. My compressor could not keep up with it. It would start strong then start to bet behind, so I had to wait for it to catch up. I bought it to tear down a chimney, but it did not have enough force, even when the pressure was optimal. I had to buy a different unit, a 2200 watt electric chisel hammer.

Bought this to remove old tile floor in the basement and it was perfect. Make sure you have a big enough air compressor, my eight gallon was barely big enough to run for a couple minutes at a time. Definitely powerful enough to get most small projects around the house done and it comes with multiple bits too for various applications.

I purchased this March 2023 just got around to use it in the port on the bottom of the air chisel not threaded, and there’s a piece of plastic in there, took it out to see if I could thread into the gun itself it is a fine thread, so a regular air adapter would not fit in there on top of the fact it came out really hard and all the threads got stripped out so I put it in fast didn’t make sure they had the right part or the proper part. Now I cannot get customer support. I cannot return it I can’t even order parts for it I highly recommend not buying this product Amazon do better

the tool itself is made well, fits good in the hands, the only problem I have with it, it wouldn't remove exhaust flang studs, if anyone ever did exhaust work you know they can be a pain since they're pressed into place, and this wouldn't punch them out. had to use a hammer and a punch. but this tool could be used for lighter stuff I'm sure.

This Air hammer is very good for the money! Seems to be very well built and have decent power. And if you want to make it even better you can get a quick attach from Mac for 65.00. Im very impressed with it for the money!

Works great! Used it to put rivets in an aluminum boat. Worked with my small compressor as I was only using it for short bursts. You would need a much larger compressor if you wanted to keep this tool going for longer periods.

It's great for what I need it to do. One thing you need is a proper compressor.

Not as powerful as what I need it for being a mechanic
