Excellent..pure product

This product is very natural and you will need to warm it up in your hands before applying, not too greasy but doesn’t smell good. I didn’t expect a perfume or fragrance but it smelled weird to me.

Ordered one butter and one balm, received 2 butters, one was covered in some of the product...I assume was covered in balm I was supposed to receive based on the texture?..

I use the balm on my body, especially my feet and hands and I can't tell you what a difference this has made in my super dry skin. The moisture is locked in and once the balm melts into your skin, it leaves a nice satin finish to your skin that is not greasy. The beeswax and shea butter help to lock in the moisture from the oils which are the best for your skin. I love the fragrance free but the rose and lavender are subtly scented and not overwhelming. I found that putting some of the balm in my hand and warming it up a bit will help to spread it easier. I make my own body butter at home typically but saw these and just couldn't resist trying them out. The Rose scent is amazing and not too strong. I use all of the ingredients listed below minus aloe Vera - but I might have to give that a try as I really love this Body Butter and use it at least twice a day. I used to use BRAZILIAN BUM BUM CREAM but would wake up and my arms and legs would still look dry with small cracks - but with Sacred Shea and my own body butter when I make it I no longer have the dry skin in the morning! You will have to rub this between your palms for a few seconds to melt it down prior to rubbing it on your skin. It will also feel a bit slick/oily at first but your body should absorb that within a minute and you will be left with super soft skin! Smells horrible even though it's fragrance free. It's great for my dry hands, but I just can't stand the smell.

This product contains a lot of shea butter. When cold, it can feel a bit grainy but it melts into a very smooth, moisturizing oil. I use shea butter straight up all the time on my skin, especially my face. This is a small container of shea butter and smells and feels much like my other organic shea butter. I dipped about a quarter sized blob of it out of the jar and it was not wanting to be rubbed into a melted state in my cold hands - it's winter now and our bathroom is cold. But I held my hands in front of the electric heater for a few moments and the butter just melted wonderfully and was perfect for applying to my skin. Don't let the initial graininess put you off - it's normal. I expect that in the summer these jars will be mostly melted shea butter.

It looks like one of the oils used in this separated and formed crystal-like clumps. If you rub it in they’ll eventually melt, but it takes a while. It also has a very strong smell of rosemary, which is not something expected from a fragrance free product. Rosemary does have some skin benefits, but it was not one of the advertised ingredients in the listing. The strong smell would definitely be an unpleasant surprise to anyone who was hoping to use this product regularly and could be a possible source of skin irritation depending on whether essential oils were used or not as most are not skin safe.
