The starter arrived on time and is beautiful installed perfectly works like a dream the fastest starting starter my 7.3 1999 350SD. Even when it was new was it a better starter than this one but I would buy with confidence I've only had it in a few days but I feel it's a winner.

Replaced starter on a 1999 F250 with the 7.3 power stroke and other than the top bolt being a pain to remove and put back in due to its location all I can say is I highly recommend this replacement starter as it turns this motor super quick!! Great product and quick shipping!!

Absolutely beast of a starter. I would not hesitate to use db electrical again. My truck has never cranked this strong or started so fast. This was a direct fit on my 1997 F-250HD. After weeks of having intermittent starting problems, I narrowed it down for the starter. This particular one was offered at the best price I could find anywhere online or in my local parts store. Installation was very easy (I lived in Texas at the time so no rust to deal with!) and I had the entire job completed in under 30 minutes. When I went to start the truck, the difference in how fast the engine turned over was unbelievable... in the years I owned the truck, it never started as quickly as it did with this starter. starter works just fine. solenoid not exactly same as OEM, was a bit tough to connect small wire. all in all good value

Fit like a glove. Nice the ol' 7.3 spins over like atop. Make sure to torque the mounting bolts to proper specs. My last starter was 2 1/2 years old; a bad battery had a lot to do with wear on the starter, then the cold killed the battery.

I have a 1996 ford f250 7.3L and this starter doesn’t work out of the box. It spins but doesn’t engage. I am an electrical contractor for 20 years so I know about electric motors, proper voltage and the importance of a solid ground. This starter fits but just bad out of the box. Now I have to return it and either wait on another one and hope that it’s good or just go to Auto zone and get one which I’m going to do now
