I've been using the Borosil Krispy 4 Slice Pop-Up Toaster (1500W, Black) for about a year now, and it's been a reliable kitchen companion. It toasts evenly, accommodates four slices at once, and offers great value for the price. The sleek design and intuitive controls make it easy to use. That said, there are a few things to keep in mind: Crumb Cleanup: Like most toasters, cleaning out crumbs can be a bit of a chore. While it does have a crumb tray at the base, not all crumbs fall into it—some get stuck around the inner grills and corners, making deep cleaning a bit tricky. Heat Discoloration: Over time, the top surface has lost its shiny metallic finish and developed a brownish, burned-metal look. It doesn’t affect how the toaster works, but it does impact the appearance. Rusting Grills: After about a year, I’ve noticed the inner grills starting to rust. This is disappointing, especially since the rest of the build feels sturdy. Despite these issues, the toaster continues to perform well. If you're looking for a budget-friendly 4-slice toaster with decent functionality, this one is worth considering—just be aware of the upkeep involved. 📸 Photos shared after approx. 1 year of use (just cleaned).

It works for a year and a half. Then it stops locking for toasting (does not lock for pop-up). I made a complaint. The technician came. Opened the sensor, cleaned it and it started working. After two days it again stopped. Mind it, we have been using other pop-up toasters for nearly four decades now and none gave such problems. That means, we know how to keep the toaster clean and remove the bread crumbs daily after use. Looks like there is a flaw in the design of Borosil toaster. It's sensor is located close to the toasting area and bread crumbs deposit on it. This is inside and you cannot clean without calling a technician. On my fourth complaint, the sensor was changed. It is working now - not sure for how many days. The warranty expires in about a fortnight and then I have the option of buying a new one than to pay charges to Borosil for a bad product. Secondly, the stainless steel cover gets very hot and you run the risk of burning your hands. Overall impression : Frustating experience for a small product. Go for other superior brands.

Do not buy this toaster. It looks okay and seems cheap but it’s not worth more than Rs100. From day 1 it had problems with heating. It would either burn toasts or not toast them at all. The heating was very uneven and had to keep changing positions of the bread to get even toast. Then a few days back, exactly 6 months are the purchase, the middle heating on both sides has stopped working completely. This has convinced me never to buy any borosilnproducy ever. Worst product of all time!!

Product is kind of ok; however, note following: 1. Item received with body cracked. Packing was very poor. 2. Manual is not mentioning that the bread slices get loaded (locked) only if the power is ON.
