First, I covered the book old school style by making a book cover from a paper bag. Then, I jumped in. The book is the first in a series, and we are being introduced to the characters by living training camp from each players point of view. I love the lessons about perspective, compassion for one another, and judgement. We all make judgements about one another based on what we see. We donāt always know where that person is coming from; their history, motivation, hurts, fears, etc. Iāve given the book to a friend who coaches at my school and will give this book as a gift to friends and family for the holidays. Just remember, if now is not the time for you to read the book, itās ok. It took me 3 years and numerous starts to read The Shack. But, when I finally got through the first chapter, I enjoyed the book. Training Camp I read in 4 days over spring break. It was an easy read and I loved the characters. I canāt wait for the next book in the series. Review: Delivery Surprise! - I purchased this book along with 3 other Kobe Bryant books for my niece for her upcoming birthday, and I was so amazed by the texture and style of them as well as the colors. Not to mention the length of the read that comes from the stories, I even have them back in my cart again as a reorder for myself!

Wonderful Lessons and Storytelling
I laughed and felt the emotion of the various situations and journeys these ten young men were going thru. Great book for a father of four, coach and entrepreneur. I canāt wait to share with each of our children as they come of age. Bravo Black Mamba and Wesley King! We canāt wait for the next series!

I bought this for Kobe
I have two sons. One plays basketball and the other plays tennis. We've been reading the books a little but they don't seem very interested. I'll keep trying. The books are very well made and have excellent craftsmanship. Like something I would expect from a collectors edition of Harry Potter. I miss Kobe. His dedication to his craft was second to none. I've taken the family to his grave and love the view of the ocean and Harbor Day School.

Exquisite Book
This is one of the best books I've read. I'm a 4th-6th grade basketball coach. I relate to this book so well I wish I was professor wizenard! Kobe did an out of this world job telling this story, the author writes well. Very descriptive and entertaining. I read once but will read again for sure. My 11yr old son loves it as well. I coach him and he won't listen to me but hears professor loud and clear through text on a page. BUY NOW! Not to mention the weight and texture of the cover and pages, really great work Kobe!

Great 2nd series book - good for young readers!
This was a gift for my grandson, along with series one. He is currently reading the first book, but is very interested and looking forward to this one as well. He especially likes that Kobe Bryant was an author on it as he is a huge fan. He said he will treasure it always.

Your Young Reader Needs This Book!
This book is beautiful! The cover is bright an has the texture of a brand new basket ball. It is a very thick book, but it has 5 POVs retelling their individual experience that read like their own short stories. Themes: You can overcome fear; You are not alone. Your young readers will love this story. If Kobe were still alive I imagine this could have been a 3 or 5 book series. Trigger Warnings: Poverty Youth Processing Loss of Parents Absent Parent Loneliness Self Harm Parental Pressure

Creatively Inspirational
Kobe Bryant is a creative genius! With the help of his writer and creative concepts, this book for a 29 year old me was just what I was looking. The different perspectives and life lessons each fictitious basketball player had brought the book to life. The Wizenard proverbs at the top of each chapter of the book inspired me, but some Wizenard proverbs were interwoven through what the professor taught as a coach. I recommend this to anyone who just loves the game of basketball and any youth or student who plays the game today!

The quality of the book and the materials used are awesome, first book I ever seen like that; the pages, the front and back. The story in the book is amazing, you cannot stop reading it to know what is happening to each of the kids.....their visions,fears,backgrounds,.....you can imagine perfectly a friend or yourself going through the same as some of the kids in your past. Is a great book for everyone. Is long but you will read it faster than you expect, as to some people will remind to the movie Coach Carter, which was awesome.

Extremely inspiring, talks about common teenager problems and fears and it helps with coaching techniques to work through them. I hope they translate in many, many languages. For one, please translate in Japanese, as I have many kids here I want to recommend it to.
