The features of this Crock Pot are impressive. It can be set manually, it can be set to automatically calculate the cooking time for a specific meal, or it can be set to have the meal done at a specified time. Its 7-quart capacity and its oval shape make it very useful. The locking lid for travel is an added bonus.

Initially it was difficult for me to use with all of the options available on this unit. However, I got it now and I have made many great meals with it. I highly recommend this product weather your a novice or a seasoned chef

Very impressed with customer service. I used this crock pot for a few months, then for whatever reason it would not heat/ turn on. I was disappointed as this is a great crock pot. Programmed to turn on while at work, food was piping hot and not over cooked. I contacted the manufacturer. They were prompt. Within 24 hours they had shipped a new crock pot. I am so happy and impressed that I would recommend this to anyone.

I had a similar size Faberware brand Programable cooker and it cooked great and loved the programable feature. After years it was on its last leg and I looked to replace it. This Crock-Pot 7 looked like it might be even a better cooker...but Like others have reported, the same "clicking" noise is happing with the Crock-Pot cooker that I ordered. Because some suggested, I have tried to fight through it and see if it goes away after using it a few times. But the issue with that is, I haven't been able to get through an entire cook with the Crock-Pot because it doesn't seem to heat properly. It gets ridiculously hot on the outside of the unit to the point where it will burn you if you touch it, but on the inside, it doesn't heat enough to cook properly. This is a lemon if I have ever seen one! Amazon should stop selling this product until Crock-Pot resolves this issue, and take an active part in resolving all these complaints. It is beyond frustrating when buying a product thru Amazon that is less than <$100, and you get it and it is defective. Then it is the hassle of re-boxing, getting return labels, driving it to a drop off or UPS store etc....and then wait for the shipping plus 7-10 days for your card to get credited back. It is frankly not worth some peoples time or frustration. If Crock-Pot wants to make it right with their customers....they should just look at all these 1-star complaints for the same issue, and automatically send you a replacement that works correctly. I doubt that will happen, so I'll just give it a 1-star review, and never buy another Crock-Pot branded product again. It's not worth my time and hassle. I'll just swing by Wal-Mart later this week, they got half a dozen brands sitting on the shelf. I'll grab another brand there. And if I have an issue with it, I can just walk it back in to Wal-Mart and return it and grab another one.

Gotta be the best slow cooker I've ever had. I love the timer count down. One i had before didn't have that so I had to either remember the time it would be done or remember to set a timer on my phone. Just nice to glance at it and see how much time is left. I also love the option to pop everything in and have it start up should I be gone and need it started while I'm gone. It's nice!

The Crock Pot brand has been around for decades and is a trusted name in the slow cooker market. I didn’t look at any other brands, just shopped the model options from Crock Pot. We chose this one for its unique feature of allowing you to set the time you want your dinner to be ready. No more trying to determine when to start it and counting the amount of hours on your fingers. You simply input the time you want it to be ready and it will adjust the temperature according to the type of meal being prepared. We have used this feature twice now and have had great results both times. It does add a few more buttons so the simplicity of the old fashion crock pot may be gone, but it is easy to learn and walks you through it on the screen. The large capacity and locking lid made this an easy choice for our needs. It’s a very nice model and highly recommended.

This is my 3rd slow cooker. The first one, the crock cracked. I had never experienced this before. It was not dropped or banged into anything. Cheaper to buy a new one then replace the crock. Had to buy another one because we use it so much to make dog food and people food. The food is always cooked evenly and fully. We use the manual function mostly but have cooked things overnight so it's ready in the am. It is easy to tote around to pot lucks etc if needed or even moving around the kitchen. Ours basically live on the counter so the stainless steel base looks nice and cleans up well. They are used almost every other day.

I work from home and I prefer preparing the food the night before so its ready on time and not get up early for it, so programming serve time is very useful. I don't have much experience with slow cookers but the relatively simple recipe I did worked wonders! The meat, potatoes, and carrots weren't too soft but far from being too hard - they were just right! Tasted very good and I noticed that about an hour or two before the designated time, it kicked slightly into a higher gear, as the temperature rose a bit and the scent spread throughout the house. Note that the dimensions specified in the video clip (first one) are incorrect. The dimensions specified on the product page are the correct ones. I am very happy with this slow cooker. I haven't tried manual settings yet but since I had a good experience with programming it, I'll stick to it for the time being.

Producto de calidad premium, vale la compra, específicamente lo compre para preparar el caldo de huesos pero veo que la olla tiene para muchas preparaciones.
