Great Eyepiece; comparable to ES.
Svbony makes impressive eyepieces and telescopes, especially given their price point. The quality of this eyepiece is on par with or even slightly better than Apertura Pan and Explore Sci 82deg. While the afov is a bit smaller than those, the clarity and crispness of the view was every bit as good. Image is crisp and flat throughout 99% of the fov. It provides a slightly brighter image than than the ES, and equal to the AP. Contrast was equal to the AP, but just slightly less than the ES. Given its half or a third (on sale) of the cost of those, its a great value.

Good value in a low-power, wide-field 2" eyepiece
Wide field, sharp center. Slight fall-off in sharpness as you look away from the center, but at this price you can't expect near-perfection. If you have $350 or more to spend on a single eyepiece, get a Tele Vue Nagler. If you don't, this 2" eyepiece will give you the big-eyepiece "falling into space" experience for a lot less money.

People are too skeptical of this company
When you read online astronomy forums, people make it seems like you have to spend $$$ on a televue or a baader to be able to see anything out of your telescope. They bash svbiny a lot as cheap garbage. I can confidently say, this is a great lens, and as a normal amateur astronomer with normal eyes living in a bortle 5-7 area, everything looks crisp, clean, and beautiful through this lens. I love the immersive wide field of view. This a fine lens! Dont let the snobs convince you to spend 3 times the price on a lens that is supposed to be better but offer barely any noticeable difference for the extra cost!

A nice surprise for astronomy beginners -- a bang-for-buck winner.
I skeptically purchased the SVBONY 154 26mm expecting many flaws for such a bargain price. I've owned the legendary 24mm Panoptic eyepiece for 15+ years. (The 24mm is so good, it's used price is steadily increasing, not declining, over time.) But the SVBONY 154 was great in my 8" f/10 SCT. I was stunned how sharp it was. As far as I could tell, the promised 70-degree AFOV was correct. I can imagine doing an entire astronomy outreach program just using the 154. Some comparisons and limits: The Pan weighs 8 oz vs the 154's 11oz. The 154 is a 2" eyepiece so any filters would be 2" also ($$). Of course, the telescope would need a 2" focuser. I can report that the 154 works fine in the popular photography adapter, NexYZ. I'm a little concerned about the eye-cap. It should be fine if you don't switch it between eye-mode to glasses-mode. But it's more stiff than most eye-caps and so it might not tolerate frequent adjustments. A good eye-cap is essential when viewing from an illuminated location. There are many high-quality 24mm-26mm eyepieces on the market. But the SVBONY delivers an amazing view for a novice-friendly price.

Great Budget 2โ Eyepiece!
To start, I would say this eyepiece blew me away. Iโm in college and doing astronomy on a tight budge. This eyepiece came exactly as advertised! I own a 12.5โ f/5 dobsonian telescope and the views were fantastic. The eyepiece gave a full 70 degree field of view and through my telescope it provided me 1.14 degree true field of view. This allowed me to see large objects like the complete double cluster, M81 and M82, M108 and the owl nebula, and most of Andromeda. It also split the double stars of Mizar and Albireo very nicely. Globular cluster were especially good and I could see individual stars in most of the brighter Messier ones. I could also see the distinct dark lines in M13. Granted I have a telescope with a large aperture which really helps, so keep that in mind. The moon was also amazing! I could get then entire full moon in the eyepiece. Now the down sides to this eyepiece. The edges of the field of view were not as sharp as the center.. You can kinda see that in the picture of the double cluster I added. However, It wasnโt horrible but definitely noticeable. Itโs also quite heavy and I had to readjust my telescopeโs balance. If you can live with those, this eyepiece is a steal. Overall, this eyepiece is of high quality and my go-to out in the field. Recommending this to anyone on budget looking for amazing and affordable views.

Nice EP for the money
I'm switching over to the 2-in size eyed pieces so I bought this 26 mm and it's been a really good eye piece, of course it matters what type of telescope you're using, if you're using a fast telescope like F/5 then you're going to have some problems on the edges but all my telescopes are f/10 and above and it works quite well in those, there's still a little distortion on the very edge but not too bad. I also use this eyepiece during the daytime and it does quite well so it's really a good quality eyepiece for the money. I've got two of them now so I'm a happy camper.

A perfect first 2inch eyepiece.
This is my first 2-inch eyepiece, and I didnโt realize how much of a difference it would make until I started using it. The wider field of view makes observing feel much more immersive, especially on the Moon and brighter deep-sky targets. The optics are sharp, contrast is very good, and the eyepiece feels solid and well made in the hand. It fits perfectly in my new 2in diagonal. Keep in mind though, it is heavier than a 1.25 in eyepiece, so youโll need to be mindful of how it affects the balance of your OTA especially if itโs on something like a dobsonian. Regardless though, it aligns perfectly on each of my scopes, and makes manual tracking feel very stable. Eye relief is also comfortable, which makes longer observing sessions a lot more enjoyable. Iโve spent more time just casually looking through my telescope since getting this eyepiece because the views are simply more enjoyable and engaging. For the price, Iโve been extremely impressed with the overall quality and performance. Iโd love to try out the SV136 or SV190 as well.

It's an eyepiece
This eyepiece is just an eyepiece, but it feels really high-quality. It has a lot of weight to it, and it acts exactly as it should. Great price for the product.

Good for price
I compare this to my Saxon 21mm SWA (68 deg). The Saxon definitely has less coma than the Svbony (seen through my f5 dob)! That is pretty much the only complaint I have about the glass in this eyepiece, otherwise the centre of the image is clear and sharp. The outer build quality isn't that high comparable to the Saxon but that doesn't really matter (things like rubbers slightly overhang). Eye relief is fantastic and is great for the price you pay. I am pretty sure that the SV154 is just a carbon copy of the GSO SWA but sadly cannot compare. No regret buying this eyepiece for the price can nearly get the entire of subaru/pleiades into the eyepiece.
