Rb4147 Boyfriend Square Sunglasses

Got this pair in today. 25Sept14 Awesome Bans. So real quick, they're big yes, but not like clown size shades. I read a review that said the polarized ones were heavy so they slide of the nose when looking down. Well, i took a chance and nope! They are light, not heavy at all. I think some people try to compare it with little frugal shades they might own. The glass makes the view clear., they hug my sides so i love the fact that you don't have sun coming in through the sides of the sunglasses. As far as feeling cheap? They are made of plastic so of course they feel light and cheapy, but they are actually nice and sturdy. Mine came in a brown leather textured case instead of the smooth black case shown. I do prefer the brown one they sent. Looks nice. Also, i know some reviews metioned the their shade were made in china? well, mine say italy in the inside leg, and mine don't "squeak" when i open them or close the legs up. So needless to say, these shades are awesome. I will be wearing them tomorrow from now on.

This review is from a guy. I went into a glasses store to try on Ray Bans, I ended up liking these the best for my oval face shape. I found the other ray bans like the 55m RB2132 and the RB2140 to be way to small. Additionally, the RB2140 slant downwards on your face, and definitively doesn't look good on my kind of face. The lenses are incredible on these (got the green) which maintain natural color tones and reduce a little glare; the polarization further reduces glare. I already got a small scratch on them though by dropping them. From other peoples perspective, the lenses just look dark on your face, usually can't see the eyes. Although they look dark on your face, while wearing them, they definitively don't seem dark and I can see very clearly. The style is slick, it's got the large coverage area of something like aviators, but it incorporates the underlying style of WayFarers. My girlfriend liked these the best on me. In general, I recommend these over the other models for larger faces and oval faces.

These sunglasses are pretty sweet! I bought these in the 60 mm version and returned them cause they were way too big (free shipping and free returns made it easy). I noticed there was also a 56 mm version which I ordered soon after. These fit perfectly and look amazing. If you read reviews of people having to return them cause of size, just know there's also a smaller version (although in less color options and a polarized version is not available). Also, these are legit for sure, the bar code tag says they were sold to/through amazon by Luxottica, which owns/produces the Ray-Ban brand and a few others. I also compared them side to side at a Sunglass Hut and at they were exactly the same(the logos, etching, etc). The only thing that is slightly different is the case they come in. One last thing, these vary in price a lot week to week or even day to day. I've seen them between 94 and 130. So if you're patient you can get them cheaper certain days.

If you're looking to stop wearing Oakley Holbrook XLs, but felt they were about the only decent sunglasses for your large head, I have great news. These are basically the perfect Ray-Ban replacement for that same size, and similar (but, better imo) look. Tried for weeks to purchase a custom version of these on the Ray-Ban website, but holy hell does their website suck. So many errors that customer service would tell me were their site's generic explanation that some piece wasn't actually in stock for customization. Finally gave up after six weeks, and got these Bordeaux/Dark Violet version here, even if the website is cheaper. The price difference was worth the much faster shipping and zero headaches. Also, the Bordeaux/Dark Violet look great if you are tired of boring black sunglasses. Still very understated while being slightly more elevated by not being the same color everyone else is wearing. It's insane how hard it is to find pictures of people wearing this color (and most non-black colors) online, so just trust me, they look great. Or, maybe I shouldn't say that, as part of their great appeal is how few men wear non-black sunglasses. lol

I'm not sure if everyone is getting the same pair that i got but i originally bought this model from sunglass hut for $189+tax many months back but i got them stolen. I saw this deal on amazon and thought that it was a great deal so i purchased them. As soon as i got them i thought something was off because the case i had before was black and when i opened this one, it was brown. I'm not sure if that matters but just something i noticed. When i took the glasses out and felt the glasses i knew they were fake. The ones i had before were a bit heavier and felt like it was good quality. These felt flimsy/plastic. They feel like the cheap glasses you buy from the mall vendors. I have a few pairs of ray bans and none of them feel this cheap. Before with my real pair, i could not see my phone screen and this was because the glasses were polarized. Same glasses and same phone should yield same results as before but with these fake ones i could see the screen just fine. Trust me on this, these are fake! If you want to spend $100+ for replicas, these are the glasses for you! I should i listened to the other comment that these were fake.... I don't know how it has so many positive ratings. I got them today, and i boxed them already to return for tomorrow. I hope my comment saves other people the hassle i went through.

Let me start by saying THESE ARE NOT FAKE!!! I purchased these glasses after comparing the flat top with a pair of wayferes. The wayferes fit small on my face and the flat top provided the extra size and the style of the wayferes I was looking for. I live in S. Florida so I opted for the polarized green lens. It does a great job filtering the light and eliminating glare especially during sun showers. Any polarized lens will make tints on a car and cell phone screens look like they have a strange glare. This happens with any polarized lens. I didn’t have any issues with the shipping process and the product arrived fully intact (no damage to any of the boxes.) Overall great product and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a larger pair of sunglasses!!!

This was my first pair of sunglasses I ever paid over $15 for. A friend of mine convinced me my eyes were worth taking care of and it would be a worthy investment. After 6 months of having these I'd say he was right. The first thing I noticed was how enhanced colors seemed through the polarized lenses. They fit my face comfortably, and only droop on my face if I go jogging and they get sweaty (I would recommend adding some croakies to your cart if you're an outdoorsy type, these are worth protecting) I would have rated 5 stars but for style these are little big on my face. Maybe some wayfarers would be more stylish. Good product, great vendor.

Recently purchased these sunglasses as a replacement for a lost pair of Wayfarers. This model looks similar to my old glasses but with a larger field of view. Extremely comfortable and would appear to be very durable. The view through these glasses is clear and sharp. I know from my first pair that the lens are fairly scratch resistent. Assuming I don't lose these like the first pair, they should be a pleasure to own and a better value that any $20 pair of drugstore glasses. I purchased these from an Amazon retailer, "Paris Miki Optical". Although they had the lowest price (plus free shipping and no tax), I was shocked at how fast I received them. I ordered them on Saturday evening and received them via FedEx Tuesday afternoon. The perfect purchase experience.

The quality nd looks are damn too good but only suitable for big guys bcoz sunglasses are too big

DO NOT ORDER THIS SUNGLASSES, they have changed the lenses from glass to plastic and it’s very very poor quality. second, i ordered the same sunglasses before 5 years from amazon(USA) and it was very good with excellent quality, and this my second order for the same sunglasess (both were sold by amazon, they are authentic) but the quality is very very bad, it’s completely different with bad quality materials and lighter compared with the old sunglasses, and with the same price!!shame on RayBan!
