Useful 5ft folding table, as advertised, well designed and made, good value at 30 gbp. Yes it is quite heavy, but that helps to make if more stable. I'm using it under a 6ft 3in by 3ft model railway that is quite heavy. The table provides an adequately stable base that saved the time and trouble to make my own support trestles. (OK other reviews say it might stain easily with tea, coffee etc, so will keep that in mind for future uses.)

Brilliant, robust, light and easy to fold

Easy to use and serves its purpose, but you have to balance the sturdiness against the relative heaviness.

Great table, ideal for many uses, fairly sturdy. Folds up easily to store and a good price. We bought it for a big birthday get together for the food. Easy to clean smooth surface.

These tables, we bought three, are very strong, very well made and easy to assemble. Once up, I reckon they would be safe underneath in an earthquake. We use them to display lightweight diecast vehicles, but because they are heavy, they are very stable even on blocks for uneven ground in fields. Absolutely excellent!

I tried to use this as a desk but I regret not returning this table when I first received it, and I wonder whether I should still try to return it as it not fit for purpose. It does not have a mechanism to lock the legs in the open position and this makes it unsafe. I use tables like these at work all the time, as we run exhibitions and fairs and we need easily transportable tables and I never had this problem; all the tables I have used (and I tried several brands as venues often provide us their own) have some kind of lock in place mechanism that ensures that the table wont bulk if someone accidentally kicks it or leans on it or etc. I am really surprised by all the good reviews here and wonder if there's something that's missing from my table but I think it's unlikely. The table may be ok for very occasional use, if you are very careful and you don't put fragile or heavy items on top but if you plan to have it open all the time and people are walking/ cleaning around it you'll inevitably cause it to fold and drop. Twice it has folded on me while I tried to -carefully- clean around it (very little pressure nothing that would cause a normal table to budge an inch. In one occasion I had a mug of tea on the tabletop and it resulted in a big great mess. Thankfully I managed to grab my laptop before it crushed to the floor.
