It really does take a lot of doing to make it start changing colors if you're doing it by hand, but it works (and changes more quickly afterwards), and if you're using it as intended, worth it. The purple and red very noticeably change colors, but the green is a lot more subtle! As you're working on the green, it goes from the darker slime green to an almost neon green and doesn't show the temperature change as much when it reaches the neon green color. Aside from that, the texture of it is kind of off putting at first. It has an almost oily feel to it, but as you handle it, it kinda sorta goes away? I can only assume you're either kneading it back into the putty, or you're kneading it into your own hands. Or a little bit of both. Either way, I'd probably avoid getting it onto clothes or furniture. It also kind of have a sweetish chemical smell to it. My though were that if I bough one set I was getting one of each color, negative ! So I kept one of each color and returned the rest.
