This English version is great and the localization seems well done. The book itself is a little larger than some other light novels I have, but honestly I like that more as the illustrations are that much bigger. And the quality of the book, plus the full-color illustrations, are great.The story itself... It's a classic romantic comedy with multiple love interests, and how that plays out in a school setting with a main character that everyone's afraid of because of his appearance. Plenty of funny parts, as well as an all-around satisfying and heartwarming story. Definitely recommend this book and series, even if you haven't already read or watched the manga/anime. And maybe go do that as well if you can. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adorable *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2018* Some parts of this book started out a little rough for me to read. The problem was I wasn’t used to the author’s writing. But once I caught on I fell in love with the characters in this story. I watched the anime and I’m beyond happy I found this light novel series. I can’t wait to read more of my favorite couple’s story. (Seriously, these two are super adorable!) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredibly good as both an LN from an anime and as a standalone book *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2018* Very good LN for a very good price. The translation feels incredibly slick and easy to read- doesn't even feel like its a translation at all! While I haven't watched toradora in a while, it perfectly encapsulates the feelings one goes through when in love. The book itself is also of amazing quality, has some very nice cover art with some great color pages to start. The only real disapointing part was the fact that the non-color drawings seem very sketchy and simple. While the moments used to portray the drawings only enhance the experience, I felt like more could have been done with these. That nitpick aside, while the cover and art look very anime, at its core its a very light and fluffy romance.
