It was a perfect fit and very easy to install. I assembled everything in the house expect for the filter. The stock filter removal was quick and easy, just remove the clamp on the motor and remove one screw holding down the filter box. The K&N filter assembly went in with no problems at all. I have not had it long enough to notice fuel economy but I can say that the throttle response is much much better. I now have to adjust how much I step on the gas because the load roar of the motor makes you want to step on it every time and you can feel how much more the car accelerates with just a little gas. Also the inner tube is not soft plastic it is a very shiny smooth surface that allows air to flow perfectly through there. I also found research that the stainless steel tubes will get heat from the engine which will transfer hot air into the intake, this high strength plastic will not transfer the heat.
