Bought this case for my wife, there were not a lot of option for older models but this one has a bunch of different colors to pick from. It has a nice matte finish and feel, it allows the back Apple logo to glow through, and it has its own feet. It snaps on really easily and feels secure. The keyboard cover is a nice but unfortunately doesn’t allow the backlit keys to shine through. Overall a really nice case!

I was so afraid of getting thin plastic garbage again. I am happy with the fit of these 15 inch MacBook Pro covers. I did think the old 13 yr old laptops got a bit hot underneath so left off the bottom part of the cover set. But, I'm sure it would have been fine if on a laptop stand. Old MacBooks need lots of ventilation and the vents on the bottom of the case are nice.....but, I'm playing it safe. Came with a big Mac apple sticker to put in the middle.

This is my 3rd computer case shell. The first, I bought at the Apple store which lasted for 7 years. I replaced it with a cover that was purchased on line for the same price as this one, but was not durable at all and actually started to scratch my computer (defeating the purpose). I saw this product and decided to take a chance. The quality is like the one I had bought from Apple and I love the color! The added bonus of the key pad cover was surprisingly helpful though it does bubble up around my space bar (but I think it's because I stretched it from how I pulled it off the sheet). I would highly recommend if you love your older MacBook and want to give it a facelift while also protecting it!

I ordered it with free 2 day shipping and it came within 4 like wtf?! Lol but anyways....I appreciate it coming about time, it fits great looks nice, I love gooooooooold! Lol but only Buzzkills is that there no cutout for the Apple logo to really shine through, and the second con is that when I open the lid it makes a lil cracking sound but it's just the case clips coming in contact with the Macbook's black plastic vent bar on the front. Lastly the keyboard rubber cover doesn't let the LED light shine through the letters but other than that........I LOVE GOOOOOOOOLD! Lol oh btw I'm using a 2009 MacBook Pro 15 inch 2.66 Gz 6GB

This cover makes my 13+ year old laptop look more modern. The old computer still works and provides computing power for me. it does no have to look it's age.

Perfect for my MacBook to keep it from getting damaged

I'm pretty happy with this computer shell. The outside has a sleek, matte finish with a glossy interior. Pretty true to how it is described, although you can't really see the Apple logo shine through unless you're in a darker room. Installation of the case was pretty simple, it does not feel like the hinges are damaging my computer as I didn't need to snap any of them on. There are foamy pads on the corners on the bottom piece, to not scratch tables or anything, which I like. However, it's been almost a week and the pads are already starting to wear. It would be nice if the pads were rubber or something more durable. On my last case, the pads just completely peeled off. The keyboard cover is snug, however I'm already starting to see some signs of wear on the gold paint finish. Update: Keyboard cover is showing major wear after two weeks, there is already a crack in my shell case, too. Updated to three stars

This case makes my old macbook look new again. I love the look, super easy to put on, and the keyboard cover has a great feel. Color is the same as advertised. I just got it today, but it seems durable and has a great price. Super happy and definitely recommend.

El producto cumple con las espectativas básicas. Sin embargo hay que tener cuidado porque es para teclados en inglés. No cuadra con la tecla enter del teclado europeo que tiene la letra Ñ. También cabe destacar que la cubierta no cubre todos los bordes. Además si no tienes cuidado se descarapela fácilmente.
