We were looking for something to put our son's Yamaha electronic drum set on, and after researching we found we could use a snare drum stand. This one got great reviews and also was a much better price than the Yamaha stand, so we decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did because it worked out perfect. It took a little adjusting to get it just right and we needed some tools to get everything sufficiently tightened, but I figure that would be the same for any stand. We plan to just leave ours up so he can just set up and go, but it's really nice that it comes with a sturdy bag if we want to take it apart and store it. Overall a great purchase
