Final Fantasy X/ X-2 HD Remaster (Nintendo Switch)

Arrived earlier than expected. Code worked fine too download X-2.

Final Fantasy X is one of the best games from the Final Fantasy franchise. Great storyline and character development with one of the best turn based battle systems. Final Fantasy X-2 is a great sequel, with a new take on the battle system. Multiple endings in this one, but kind of difficult getting 100% complete with an easy to miss part about half way through the game. This is a great port of the games with no issues, nor experienced performance issues. I also had no issues with this seller or the delivery. Perfect experience.

One of the games that people always argue is the best Final Fantasy. The story is one of the weakest and rather basic in comparison but getting 2 games in a pack definitely compensates for that. The combat in FFX is easily the best there is. Every character has their own utility (except one sadly) so having the option to change members when needed really adds to the strategy of combat. Gone are the days where you end up sticking with the same three party members through a whole game. Levelling up is rather basic and means very little unless you're trying to stat max but the drive really comes from the gameplay and the end game content. The guts of each end game side quest really adds to the experience. FFX-2 also has its flaws but its saved by its combat. Class based gameplay but changing in battle (via a system where you can't have all equipped) means switching strategy but making sure each character is weighted properly is great. In short, there's a reason some will argue its the best Final Fantasy and once you play them, you'll see why. And what better way than to play on the go with the Switch.

Beware, product is North American copy of the game. The game cart works as Switch is region free but it wouldn't let me download X-2 (second game) as code is NA code and I'm in Europe. Contacted Nintendo and Square Enix customer care but neither could help other than to say I'd need to contact the retailer. Retailer doesn't have an email address, just a mobile phone number which I called and nobody answered. Left voicemails but no reply. Eventually managed to to find a workaround but had to change my region on the Switch and on my Nintendo account to be able to access the US eshop but it was an absolute nightmare! Got to try and change it back now also. Unless you know your way around a Switch and it's settings then avoid as it's not a simple download.

One of my all time favourite games back from the ps2 days, one of the best heart felt stories in a game and the remaster has not tarnished its original quality

Fan inconditionnelle de FF, c'est mon préféré donc normal que je l'ai sur la Switch même si c'est tellement plus beau sur grand écran mais au moins je peux l'emmener partout avec moi !

Capolavoro per sempre, purtroppo il capitolo X-2 è da scaricare tramite codice e non può essere giocato senza la cartuccia di final fantasy x inserita! Avrei apprezzato entrambi i capitoli su cartuccia
