I'm so glad I purchased these ice packs for after my hip surgery! I had hip labrum repair/FAI surgery and these were the absolute perfect ice packs for afterwards. I got a large, half size, and the neck wrap- all with straps. Straps are key!! I got the neck wrap one bc it was the perfect design to be able to go around the entire hip and groin area! It was absolute perfection and worked just the way I hoped it would!!! I also had a lot of pain on the top and side of my hip and thigh so I was able to place the large and half size packs exactly where I needed them as well! I posted pics so you can see how having the straps allowed me to place the packs all around my hip and leg so well! Bc they are lined it was great to be able to do my first 20 mins lined side down, take off for 20 mins (placed on a towel on the bed next to me- did not have to be placed back in the freezer), and then I turned them around and placed the non-lined side down on me for the next 20 mins and they were still very cold!!! They are super easy to use once you have them near you and they are definitely heavy duty and seem like they will last a long time. Cons: You WILL need to lay a towel down under any part that will be on your bed/couch etc, bc they do get frosty and eventually wet/sweaty on the outside during the first icing. And place a towel over the top of them if you put a blanket over you. They are heavy! I've been non weight bearing on crutches for the past few weeks so it makes it difficult for me to take them in/out of the freezer to the room myself, however, I did put them in a grocery bag to make it easier to get them in and out and to carry them with crutches. BUT it is not easy to carry the 3 packs with crutches, you have to be coordinated to do it, but it can be done. So there is that. I added pics so you can see how awesome they are to mold to you exactly how you need them. I would absolutely buy these again every time. I wish I had these before my surgery! I play hockey and these will for sure be used a lot in the future! The pros outweigh the cons and I highly recommend these!

FABULOUS ice pack!!! I am in my early 70's, short (5'2") grandma. Needed an ice pack after my hip replacement surgery. Half Size was the perfect size to cover a 10-cm bandage and the surrounding bruises from the surgery. The long strip that came with the pack was helpful in holding the pack in place when I was lying down. The ice pack stays cold long. No leaking. Pleasant texture. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My wife recently had knee surgery and did not deal well with prescription pain pills. That reduced her available pain relief options to acetaminophen and cold packs. This pair of reusable packs were a sturdy, lightweight, high quantity build. They cooled down quickly and provided pain relief over a reasonable time. Having a pair allowed for continuous relief where one was cooling while the second was in use.

Freezes quickly and stayed cold for about 45 minutes.The size was perfect for post shoulder surgery, albeit a bit heavy. A little tough trying to figure out how to adjust the straps to keep from sliding off my shoulder. Ended up using a binder clip to attach the top of it to the sling strap. Problem solved.

This cold pack stays cold longer than most, about an hour and half and the strap makes it so easy to attach and forget it. This product is a must have in any family and for the elderly or young children with the softer side and the colder side for people like me that had food surgery and a shoulder injury. Worth every penny and more!!

Yo if you're a big person you need this ice pack right here the portability is cool the effectiveness is very powerful no leakage strong durability it only takes a hour and a half to be really ice cold freezing

Sehr gute Qualität betreffend des Gel Inhalt und Verarbeitung. Sehr gut für die Behandlung bei Entzündungen Knie oder Schulter. Achtung: nicht zu lange auflegen! In Kombination mit einer Kälte Trauma Salbe hilft es mir immer wieder sehr gut.

Je l'utilise maintenant depuis deux ans et m'a sauvé des douleurs après une chirurgie ! Et reste encore très utile pour les douleurs au besoin. Matériau très résistant je conseille après avoir testé d'autres qui n'ont pas autant tenues.

This is somewhat heavy so it will slide off unless you hold it or bind it to you. However, it stays cold, is pretty flexible and you don’t need to wrap it in a towel to hold onto it.

I've used many types over the years and this make is the best. Stays flexible, is comfortable and once the fuzzy size is warm, just turn it over and it's still cold on the plastic side. XL is perfect for the back! Worth every penny!!!
