The Philips Hue Light Bars completely transformed my living room! The colors are vibrant, smooth, and look incredible behind my TV. I love being able to control them through the app or with voice commands — switching from bright white for daytime to cozy, colorful ambiance at night is so easy. Setup was simple and the included stands and mounts made placement flexible. I put mine behind the TV, and it makes movie nights feel like a theater experience. The quality feels premium, and everything has worked flawlessly once connected to the Hue Bridge. The only downside is the price — it’s definitely a splurge, especially since you need the Bridge for full features. But honestly, the results are worth it. If you want high-quality smart lighting that instantly upgrades your space, these are a must-have! Highly recommend for anyone who loves ambient lighting or wants to elevate their entertainment setup.

I stuck these to the back of my monitor with the light reflecting off the wall to use for virtual meetings. They work great for that. I don’t like lights shining in my face, and like a clear workspace. So with these mounted behind my monitor, I don’t see them. And with the light reflecting off the wall, it’s not blinding like if it was pointed at me. I’ve had other lighting setups that made my lighting better for the video, but this setup does well enough and is my favorite setup so far considering my other preferences. I also have Hue ceiling lights and a Hue light switch, so it’s nice that I can create a “Meeting” scene, click the remote, and all of the lights automatically get set to the color and brightness that I want. There are probably cheaper options and I do feel like Hue lights are overpriced. But since I already use Hue, it’s nice to have it in one app and controlled by a single click.

The plug in the dual light kit handles three playbars so picking this up is an easy buy and lets you run three full lights off of a single power brick. These are a nice add to the hue ecosystem, easy to control, and get very bright at any color. I have 12 of them scattered around different places in the house adding access lighting. They come with two different mounting options in the box and the cord is very long allowing for flexible install options. I also added a few behind my TV to add some additional lighting in the dark spots from my Hue Play TV ambient lighting. They sync up with what is on the tv and fit in well with the ambient light strip. All in all they are a nice add on if already in the Hue ecosystem. If new to Hue, i wouldn't start with these.

Good item to add to hue lighting system

I love the Philips Hue Play Bars, as I have the Hue application that syncs content on my Samsung TV with the lights. Additionally, Philips added the capability (via firmware update) to include my regular Hue color bulbs in the scene, so I can have potentially five different colors depending on the content. The play bars are set up with two at the bottom of the TV and one on top, with the two regular color bulbs to the sides of the couch. It makes watching TV or playing games much more immersive, and after using them with video or gaming content, it seems weird to not have it synced. You can also use these with the Hue Play Sync box, but that was a more expensive solution for my needs.

The package arrived without a power plug. I checked the "What's in the Box" section on the packaging, and it was not listed as an included item. It appears that the power plug must be purchased separately from a third party. However, there was no indication on the product listing page that this was required. I am completely disappointed.

It's a Philips product, so you know you're getting a well made product. Bright flood light that looks amazing. Easy to pair it with the bridge & integrate it into my house's lighting profiles. It comes with different mounts but I opted to just set them face up on my shelves for wall lighting. Only reason for 4 stars is you'll have to source your own 24v power supply.

Easy to install. Easy to connect to Philips Hue app. It created a wonderful aura to our environment to add more light and/or accent lighting.

Cuidado al comprarlo, es una barra extra, no tiene la conexión a la corriente, es una barra adicional, si ya tienen las 2 barras con la caja de corriente y quieren una extra es muy buena opción, yo la compré a muy buen precio y queda perfecta con las otras dos barras detrás de mi tv, le dan una imagen de decoración muy buena a la tv

I loved the product but unfortunately due to the rapid declining poor customer service i have decided to cancel my account I habe slways felt that the best customer service I habe ever had was with Amazon but recent transaction has left a horrible scar and I hope nobody else endures this but if you shop here like I did you will soon find out that this once small company that I bive built their trillion dollar company from what I considered the best customer serviced I have ever had now do not need to meet those expectations. Way to go Amazon. Likely this will not get posted because Amazon will want to let people find out the hard way so if not I will find another way to voice my opinion and if it does get posted it just a warning for anyone who has been long time customer
