A clamp you can trust
These have been awesome and easy to get on quickly! I am attaching to 1/2inch conduit and the fit is perfect with my lighter and thicker row covers. I know my row covers are not going anywhere now and my plants are safe with these on! These held with no problem with 4inch of wet spring snow, strong winds, and even a hail storm thus far! I have put them on and removed them multiple times now and they have not lost the ability to hold. They are harder to remove, but I figure that is a good thing. I believe we will get multiple seasons out of these clamps. Quality product that is worth the money.

Does fit 1/2" EMT very well, pry rings off for a looser fit
I've used these for several years to clamp to 1/2" EMT that I've bent into row cover hoops. Works well with plastic sheeting and shade cloth. Beware they actually work almost too well! As delivered they clamp quite tight and you may even tear a small hole or two in your sheeting taking them on and off. With a narrow flat blade screwdriver you can pry the metal rings off and then they aren't as grippy, but then depending on the thickness of your sheeting they're possibly a touch too loose if a storm comes. I use them either way or in a combination depending on whether I want to leave them on all season or will be repeatedly removing and replacing them.

Easy to use
Well made, tough, easy to put on and take off. Sturdy enough to stay on in the Wyoming wind.

These seem sturdy and substantial
These came recommended by a YouTube homesteader to use for low tunnels. We followed the recommendation because these appeared to be much more substantial than the competitor products, and that was the point of the recommendation. So far, so good. We’ve only had them in use for a few weeks but they sure seem like they will last forever. They will be in our garden probably 9 months out of the year between shade cloth, insect netting and winter low tunnels with frost blankets and greenhouse plastic. Unless something really surprising happens, I will keep this as a five star review. If anything changes and they somehow don’t hold up well, I will update. For the record, we have mostly 3/4” pipe but we have a little bit of 1/2” out there also, and these work great for both sizes. It takes some strength to pop them on 3/4” but it hasn’t slipped or moved at all on the 1/2” either.

4 Stars So Far, Maybe 5 After Growing Season
2-7-18 I'm reviewing the 10 pack of Snap On Clamps in 1/2" size and are 4" in length. Before purchasing I went through a variety of styles, brands, and reviews. This one and one other caught my attention, and according to the reviewers, these two being higher quality. I'm looking to use these clamps in combination with PEX tubing, with either Poly sheets, Ag Fleece/Cloth, or Bug Netting. This will be the 1st time I use any of those accessories with my garden, but I'm trying out different things, possibly extend or get a jump start on this year's season. I did ask to see if these would be compatible with PEX, because I know it's not commonly used for my purpose. I'm aware it does work with EMT conduit, but I wanted to go even cheaper and to give myself less work. Shaping conduit without a bender can be difficult, especially on tighter bends. Plus, I would have no other use for the conduit if I don't like this system, but I can repurpose the PEX more easily, such as use it for irrigation, for one. I ordered it once I had read the replies from 2 people to my question, and satisfied my query. 1 of which was the seller him/her self, and they were very quick to reply. These clips are a thick plastic with metal C clips towards either end. I think that even in the worst case scenario, if the plastic were to crack or split, the C clips would hold the entire clamp together. In my area, I have the extremes of both heat and cold, and typically items made of plastic or vinyl don't last long. So far I recommend these but the trial of time will be the true test. I have even confirmed that these clips will work on PEX... it tends to slide on the PEX right now (see photos), but once there is something in between, I'm sure they'll stay put, especially with the thicker materials. The biggest and only gap between the clamp & PEX is on the spine, but I think this helps have an area where one can pry the clamp off or use a tool there. Over all, I think this clamp was well thought out and effort was put in to make it durable. I bought this from the seller "Bootstrap Farmer" but fulfilled by Amazon, which I feel is important to list this info. I've come across sellers with variances in their items, including knockoffs, even if listed as same brand. I'll post an update with a durability review.

Game Changer
Extremely pleased with the quality of these. They fit really snug and the metal reinforcements are really nice. Got these primarily to give extra support and hold the end cap up there while a frame was built. Had previously ordered from a different company and they were useless. These are the real deal. Wished they had them in white but I guess you can’t have everything.

Learning curve but well worth it.
I love this product! I have used pvc clips for many years now, nearly 20? And this fixes the major problems. I only just used them so I can’t swear they will hang in but the uv inhibitors are something I have been waiting for forever. They take a little getting used to but after the first two or three it’s clear sailing. I also thought they were the wrong size at first- too small- but they were fine. The metal clips are easy to push off but don’t bother trying to pull. Use both hands to apply pressure when snapping on and it goes easier. Thrilled and will buy more!

Excellent and exactly what I need!
These clamps are not namby-pamby by any means. They're strong, and securely hold even bird netting alone with no sliding or popping off the poles; add a row cover, and it's no problem. This is my first season using these, so I'll see how they hold up in the AZ summer heat and sunlight, although I already think they'll do fine. Easy to see against the white row cover, these dark blue clamps are exactly what I needed after years of disappointment in the thin white un-reinforced clamps that cracked after one season of popping off the poles in the slightest wind. I am delighted to have found these sturdy Bootstrap Farmer clamps...they're marvelous.
