YES!!!!! I drink my Beer in there All the Time and it keeps it Cold for sure.....Very nice tankard I bought 3 of them....

Description says....for ornamental use. Can it be used for drinking or not?

Mine has never been out of the box, but I wouldn't use it for drinking when it says for ornamental use only. I haven't looked to see what the inside is made out of.
