## Description

The Graco AFFIX Highback Booster Seat with Latch System helps safely transport your big kid from 40 to 100 lb* and up to 57"" tall. It provides a secure connection to your vehicle seat with its one-hand front-adjust Latch system, making self-buckling easier for your independent child. While the purpose of the Latch** in the Affix Booster is to secure the booster to the vehicle seat while the booster is unoccupied and help facilitate independent buckling, you will secure your child in the booster seat with the vehicle lap/shoulder belt. The seat has an integrated cup holder and hideaway storage compartment to keep child's drinks and favorite things within arm's reach. This seat is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered to help protect your child in frontal, rear & rollover crashes. *To continue to meet industry standards, we have increased the weight minimum from 30 to 40 lb. **Since the Latch system only secures the booster seat to the vehicle in this application and is not used for installation, it may be used regardless of the weight of the child (up to the maximum weight recommendation of the seat).

Review: Safe and comfortable, would recommend! - Having been in an accident before (where the infant car seat saved our son’s life), safety was paramount so lots of research went into this and even after making my choice, I was still a bit nervous but after several months of use, DS and I are both happy with this seat! We transitioned from the Graco Extend2Fit so this was quite the leap but we decided that our son (48 inches, 50 lbs) was ready for a harness free, high back booster. What I wanted was a quality seat with latch system (✔️) and what he wanted was a “red and black booster” (✔️) so in the end, we both got what we wanted! The cup holder (located underneath the seat) was easy to find and install. Once in, it’s not going anywhere! The snack tray is nice if needed and slides in easily if not. The seat itself is pretty sturdy without adding a lot of bulk or weight. It is much easier to carry around than our previous seat! The basic latch system (same as previous) makes it slightly harder to switch between vehicles than other boosters but is worth it in my opinion! I like to know that it’s anchored in with or without our son sitting in it (others just flop around in the car and I’d worry about what might happen if we were ever hit again). I also like that the seat belt stays threaded through the shoulder guide when not in use which was an issue with others we looked at. The seat belt lays across his lap perfectly and the back can keep growing with him as he gets taller until I feel comfortable going backless or he’s ready to go without a booster. I was a little worried about the integrity of the back when first installed as the higher it slides up, the less sturdy it felt… However, once he was properly seated, I felt better and we’ve not had any issues since it was installed. Again, safety comes first in my book but for the price, I’d say we got a pretty great seat overall and our son asked that I “give it 5 stars please” for comfort and color. If you’re ready to transition to a harness free booster, I feel good about recommending this seat! We’ve stuck with Graco since our son was born and have never regretted that decision!
Review: Perfecto para mi bendición - Buscar un asiento para niños siempre es toda una odisea, si son muy baratos no brindan una protección adecuada, si son muy caros tienen cosas que no se utilizan, pero este, este se cuece aparte. La base tiene el tamaño ideal para no ser ni muy estorboso ni muy raquítico, tiene sistema latch, que al combinarlo con el sistema isofix del coche da como resultado que este se mantenga en su lugar, tiene también descansabrazos, un portavasos y un compartimento que abre y cierra para guardar cosas, la cabecera del respaldo puede hacerse hacia arriba para crecer con tu puchunguis y a los lados de esta tiene unas aberturas por donde pasas el cinturon de seguridad y le queda perfecto al niño o niña en cuestión sin lastimarle el cuello, además en rojo se ve de pelos, no aburrido como los otros colores que venden.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What color is "pierce?"**
A: We ordered the pierce. There's no sheen on it so I wouldn't call it silver - it's gray, almost more of a taupe. No pinkish tinge, even though the pictures online seem to show that.

**Q: Does the childs head fall foward when sleeping**
A: Boosters sit the child more upright than their previous car seats which are tilted backward.  This would be like you falling asleep in your seat with the exception of the awesome sides on the headrest which comfortably support my son's head when he falls asleep in the car.  Just like in your own seat, you can tilt his seat back and the booster will tilt with it.  Otherwise the head could fall forward but my son always manages to seek one of the sides to rest his head as you or I would if we were dozing in the seat.  Hope that helps!

**Q: does the back come off, ie converting it into a "backless" booster?**
A: Yes it does come off so you can use it as a backless booster. Very easy to switch it too!

**Q: How easy or difficult it is to latch/unlatch? I am looking for flexibility to use seats in multiple cars. Thanks.**
A: Press your knee into the car's seat to put the latch in for any seat.  It make it a million times easier.  Learned this from a car seat installation technician.

Buscar un asiento para niños siempre es toda una odisea, si son muy baratos no brindan una protección adecuada, si son muy caros tienen cosas que no se utilizan, pero este, este se cuece aparte. La base tiene el tamaño ideal para no ser ni muy estorboso ni muy raquítico, tiene sistema latch, que al combinarlo con el sistema isofix del coche da como resultado que este se mantenga en su lugar, tiene también descansabrazos, un portavasos y un compartimento que abre y cierra para guardar cosas, la cabecera del respaldo puede hacerse hacia arriba para crecer con tu puchunguis y a los lados de esta tiene unas aberturas por donde pasas el cinturon de seguridad y le queda perfecto al niño o niña en cuestión sin lastimarle el cuello, además en rojo se ve de pelos, no aburrido como los otros colores que venden.

Bought this for my 3.5-year-old. Fitted perfectly in my ecosport rear seat ISOFIT. The seat was easy to assemble, lightweight and has quality look and feel. Attaching/detaching this from the car is a breeze. My daughter loved it, she needs to be trained to sit with seatbelt put on.
