The best thing to do is download Google Translate turn on the camera and aim it at the connectors. Or the wiring diagram that will give you some basics

Does this controller allow for regenerative braking?

They do allow you to use your own, they do not facilitate it. If you want you can hook a toggle switch up to 24 volts it the unit you are putting this on has a braking magnet, usually through a 24v relay.

Can i control the motor externally using pwm from an arduino?

Yes but you will need to make sure the voltage on the pwm is around 4V or 5V DC.

Works on my Rad2Go overvolting 24V 500 watt motor!

Working great in my scooter. Pushing a 24 volt 500 watt motor to 36 volts! Easy to hook up. Doesnt get too hot even pushing my 200lbs on my Rad2Go scooter! I took the wires for throttle out of connector and soldered the wires for a better connection than just a crimp! Don't want to lose connection on that!

Complete waste of time! DO NOT BUY!

I bought one wired up to 32v for test, (31 is cut off min) First one burned out instantly, and was complete waste of time and money. Then I thought maybe something I did was the problem and for the benefit of the doubt I bought a 2nd one. It came with a bent mounting bracket which looked like it held a greasy washer at one point and I suspect it was previously returned. The second one would not even power up, total brick. Wasted 3 days waiting for and trying pointlessly with these garbage items. DO NOT BUY! YOU WILL REGRET IT!
