It is of extremely great quality, was easy to pair, functions like an actual keyboard and the case is also great quality. I love the compartments for my ID Card and the little mirror. The seller was very generous and included a phone stand and SD card reader as gifts which will definitely come in handy so thank you for the extras. This keyboard has come in handy for me while typing lengthy work emails and has received so many compliments. By the way, I typed this review using my new keyboard, I love it!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally can type on my new phone! Not a perfect option, but the best one available so far. *by S***S on March 2, 2018* Finally! I realize the Note8 is a new model (or was when I bought it) so I expected it to take some time to find a keyboard case for it.I simply didn't expect it to take this long....Though perhaps if Samsung could be bothered with an American release of the snap-on keyboard that they advertised for the Note8 (and which has long since been available for the S8) this would have been less of an issue.Okay, pros and cons.Pro: I like working on my writing when I'm on my lunch break, but I HATE typing on the virtual keyboard. While I don't bother with this keyboard when I'm doing some quick typing (looking something up for a customer, for instance), it is a great option when going through yet another draft of some story or other.Con: The attached "kickstand" is kinda flimsy. I still have to prop the phone up against something or lay everything out flat if I'm doing a lot of typing. The case came with an actual stand that I could use, but now we're talking shoving more things in my pocket to go to work.Pro: the inner part of the case, the part the phone fits into, connects magnetically to the outer case, meaning I can re-position it at need.... mostly useful when I tend to work on a draft in landscape mode, but some of my apps (like Instagram) refuse to work in anything but portrait.Con: it connects MAGNETICALLY. This isn't the old "you shouldn't have magnets near electronics" attitude (well, it MOSTLY isn't that; I did, after all, grow up on computers during a time when magnets were thought to be Bad News). Rather, the connection isn't as strong as I'd like. It's stronger than my last magnet case--I can pick up the case by the phone and not have the rest of the case fall off--but it does slide around a little when I'm pushing a button.And the two biggest cons:The outer case doesn't have an opening for the camera.The wrist strap attaches to the outer case instead of the inner, giving me no way to hold the phone should I accidentally drop it while USING the camera.And....The keyboard sits against the phone's screen when the case is closed. Personally I'd rather a hard hinged case, even a slightly bulkier one, as long as it means that there will always be space between the two.... or perhaps a Blackberry style slide out keyboard. The part that the phone slips into is magnetic so you can easily detach it from the main wallet case . It had a nice little leather backing. So you can magnet the phone to a metal door, music stand or fridge the detach the blue tooth keyboard.
