Beautiful book, poor handling
Ordered this beauty as a gift and it arrived with the lower label (orange/yellow) in picture torn and with a large crease in the front flap. Ended up giving as a "just because" gift vs. a Christmas gift since it was to be paired with this version of Hamlet, which arrived intact and without damage. Damaged on delivery
Book was damaged. Die-cut front cover was missing. Was to b part of my Signature Shakespeare collection; is almost worthless.

A definite must for any Shakespeare fan!
These books are simply the most beautiful, well designed and intelligent versions of Shakespeare's plays that I have ever had the pleasure to read. Kevin Stanton's designs and etchings are so beautiful and original that you'll want to frame them all! I can't say enough great things about these books. You simply have to place one in your hands to understand what I'm talking about. And the research that goes into these to explain Shakespeare's language to a contemporary audience is just top-notch. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will continue with this series of books. I've never used the word "extraordinary" before, but I am now!!
