Not only will it not hook up to Alexa, it randomly shuts off. I have not been able to turn this fan or light on for over 2 weeks. The remote no longer works, the switch no longer works, and I was NEVER able to sync to Alexa. I have lots of other devices I was able to sync to Alexa, just not these fans. TOTAL garbage. I am so angry about this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Love this fan!!! *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2019* I had a handyman put the fan up and he said it wasn't bad to install. It's so quiet. The remote works, the app on phone works, and it works with Alexa to turn on and off. We shopped around for a while and decided to go with this one and I am very happy with it. We've only had it a couple of weeks so I haven't messed with it much but right off I didn't see a way to make Alexa turn the fan speed up or down-- it would only turn the fan/light totally on or off- but there could be a way to do it. Either way there are other ways to power the fan.Update 4/17/19:The light if flickering on/off and I don't know if it's the fan or the wiring but we are unable to use it at this time.Update 5/8/19:Customer service contacted right away and sent a controller box to replace it with. It seems like something an electrician would have to do but we finally tried it and now instead of flickering there is no power at all. We are going to get a volt meter to see if is getting power first. We may have to call an electrician for a 2nd time to install.Update 5/29/19- Electrician came and fixed in 5 min. I however had an issue with the fan controller not wanting to connect to WiFi, as well as the remote causing issues if buttons were pressed to long.
