I liked the 6-star paddle... a lot!
I just used the 6-star paddle for the first time tonight. I'm very pleased with the performance of the paddle. Less pleased with my own performance. After all, a fine paddle is only as good as the player wielding it! I liked the paddle because I have a strong topspin attack, both forehand and backhand, and I quickly felt that I had better control than before. A key component of success in table tennis is confidence in one's ability to execute a shot. The 6-star quickly gave me that great feeling! I'm a good player -- I'd probably be a 1300- or 1400-level player. But nobody's perfect. The three areas of my game that require the most improvement are as follows: (1) return of serve, (2) shot selection, and (3) execution of the selected shot. I know, I know... that would seem to suggest that I have no strong points! Not at all! I'm actually pretty good at setting up my opponent for a generally effective kill shot. So, by "shot selection," I mean: If I HAVEN'T set up my opponent as effectively as I could have, I tend to try to execute the kill anyway. That's just me being dumb, not the fault of the paddle at all! So: I need to play smarter, plainly. However, when I DO force a defensive reply to a shot of mine, and I HAVE set my opponent up for a kill, I then execute that kill far too inconsistently. With the 6-star paddle, I noticed that I was executing my winners better and my confidence was greatly improved as a result. A double win! THAT was thanks to the 6-star paddle, which gripped the ball just that much better, so that my hard topspin forehands and backhands -- my bread and butter! -- were now finding the table, instead of sailing long. As I mentioned, the paddle is a bit grippier than the already grippy one I was using, so I was able to counter spinny serves more effectively, simply by cancelling the serve's spin, and imparting my own... or at worst hitting a knuckle ball back. For me, that was another BIG plus for the paddle. No review of this paddle would be complete without mentioning the unusual handle. The handle is curved, so that it fits comfortably in your hand one way. It ALSO automatically changes the horizontal angle at which the paddle attacks the oncoming ball. That angle, with respect to the floor is closer to parallel, and that requires some adjustment. I made that adjustment almost immediately, so it's not that big a deal. It DOES mean that your reach will be slightly longer automatically, which is pretty good for me. I'm 6'4" tall and have really good reflexes, but I'm by no means quick. Hence, my really long wingspan is an important tool for me. The additional reach will be come in quite handy. One potential downside of this very comfortable handle will be for the twiddlers among us. (Those who flip forehand and backhand sides mid-rally) I'm not one of them, so this had no impact on my game. Furthermore, I haven't seen or played against anyone for whom twiddling is an important weapon in his or her arsenal. But, if twiddling is important to you, this might not be your paddle. The bottom line is that the fundamental areas of my game that most needed improvement DID improve when using the 6-star paddle! So, I'm giving this paddle high marks, and looking forward to using it more in the coming weeks and months.

You will crush the competition
Gave this my friend for his birthday and he was stoked. Air Blades have a serious craftsmanship advantage to them you wonโt find in other nice paddles. Plus it came with spare grip pads so youโll get a lot of mileage out of the purchases. The speed and spin control is the best Iโve ever played with. You will easily up your game to a whole new level. The handles took us a few round to get used to, but once we did it became easy to flick speed hits and spins. The Air Blade name is well deserved.

Nice ergonomic handle, average grip, sounds hollow?
I had to replace my old paddle and decided on going a bit different than the typical Stiga or Butterfly. Saw this Airblades and thought I'd give it a shot. I was willing to get the 6 star paddle but none were available so got the 3 star since all that was different was the type of wood used. The grip on this is alright. I've played with much stickier pads and this one seems to be more of a "matte" kind of grip rather than sticky (probably easier to clean too). This paddle can put spin as you want without problem. The logo, as others have mentioned, is kind of in the way and different texture as the rest of the pad. I haven't had any problems but just a note. The handle was probably the selling point for me. Looks aggressive and feels comfortable in the hand (when held the right way). It does feel weird when it's flipped the other way but not often do I flip the paddle during a real match. My only con and deduction of a star would be the hollow sound it makes when hitting the ball. Sounds like there's "dead" spots on the paddle where wood isn't present. Maybe this is the difference between the 6 star and the 3 star, but definitely noticeable when playing. I feel like I would have to hit the ball a little harder than usual to makeup for the hollow spots. Otherwise, it hits the ball over the net lol Overall, I would say this is am all around casual paddle. Good for pick up games and relaxing matches with your people. Looks to be of good quality and should last years if taken care of. I do have to add that the case it comes in is sturdy and stylish. I would recommend this to anyone wanting something different and not your typical black/red paddle!

Highly recommend. Light weight, good power control, and the curved grip makes it very comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking to up their game and get a wonderful paddle for the price.

Excellent Paddle
I find the curved handle to be naturally fitting to the palm, and it makes a slam motion much easier by tapering the wrist power. After using it, a straight handle just doesn't feel as good. I have the "5 star" and my coworker has the "6 star" and we trade-off sometimes, so I have used both and the 5 star has slightly better control...only dislike is the logo is a different texture than the rubber so the spin is weak if it hits the ball, but using sticky pads slowly removes it over time. I would recommend to the company to make a paddle with black and red rubber - as much as I like the look of the cream color - so that it could be accepted in a tournament. The case is great, the paddle is great, and my game improved from using it - 10/10 recommend.

Great paddle and design
Repeat buyer of their products. The curved handle is great for kids and females. The paddles allow for good consistent striking, can produce great spin, and hold up really well to repeated use.

Great handle
I love this paddle. I've had it for about a week now and it has Improved my game dramatically. It's a very high quality paddle and the grip is fantastic. I'm planning on getting a 2nd paddle for my wife as I am always letting her use the paddle when we play each other. One final thought, someone in my house unknowingly hit the paddle against the table and ripped the rubber. I got in contact with the owner of the company and he shipped me out new rubbers for my paddle because he wanted make sure I had an excellent experience with the paddle. All in all I can't say enough good things about this paddle

This paddle is good for beginners up to intermediate players. It has a good weight and has been very durable over the past year. You can get good power and speed along with excellent spin out of this paddle. It's well worth the money.

Cheap
Removed the sticker from the paddle and it took off some of the writing which sucks. Paddle seems to be cheaply made.
