Review: Colorful and fun reading books - I purchased these books because I wanted an English version of Elmer. I had a Spanish version for the past 15 years and it was always a hit for my students. I saw the collection and had to have it. It was a big hit with my students. They looked forward to me reading another Elmer story to them. It turns out that it was at the end of school. I used it as a carrot when they were acting up and it worked. They would settle down so I could read them another story. They were worth the expense and we all enjoyed the stories.

I have had paper Elmers made and the kids love to color their own Elmer. I volunteer in a kindergarten class and the kids can't wait for me to come each week with a new Elmer story. These books are a bit oversized but they are a paperback style so they might not hold up if the children were to handle them.
