Perfect tool!
We had a crab bake/bash for my mom to celebrate her childhood and these were a hit! Worked well, cleaned up easy and fit the need!

Good sturdy mallets
We used these for pounding golf tees into pumpkins with little kids. They had a blast and the mallets held up better than the golf tees!

Nice little wooden hammer. For nice little hammering.
I think the intent of this tool is to break open shell fish. And they would work fine for most shell fish but I have my doubts they could stand up to Stone Crab in South Florida.I put two of these in my tool box and have already used them a couple times to give a gentle tap to things where a more massive steel hammer might shatter it.The rest are in the kitchen waiting for my next shell fish meal. I will try them on Stone Crab but I may resort to my usual two pound sledge for those things.

I got this for a group of folks invited to a party to eat crabs. They were a bit smaller than U expected, but they worked out ok.

Great for crabs & shellfish.
Light & easy to use.i put in dishwasher & they do fine!! These were a gift but I have the same ones & they are used weekly throughout the summer on steamed blue crabs! 🦀

Cracking shellfish made easy
I have used these before, but after many years, of living away, from good, fresh seafood sources, the ones I had "disappeared". I now have a cousin, who lives on the coast and comes to visit, bringing a bushel of live Blue crabs, with her, to steam and enjoy. These hammers are lightweight, but very effective and makes getting to the meat a whole lot easier. I highly recommend them.
