This one is slightly more fast-paced, with a wider variety of sessions. Both DVDs are great. I am 51 years old and have RA, so the Gentle Yoga was a perfect introduction to yoga without demanding too much on my joints. Once I had established that it was not too taxing on my body, the Yoga for Beginners is a great follow-on, with easy, relaxing sessions, and more challenging sessions to build strength and flexibility. The scenery at Glacier National Park is a perfect, serene backdrop, Jane's instruction is easy to follow, and her quiet meditative "chats" at the end of sessions have been truly beneficial to me, especially during the quarantine and stress of the pandemic. Thank you so much for such quality DVDs!! Review: Excellent DVD and Teacher! - I really can’t say enough good about this DVD, or the teacher. I started doing yoga at home about 2 1/2 years ago to head off the aches and pains wanting to slow down my aging body. After trying a few DVDs, that have since been donated to our library, I found Jane’s Gentle Yoga-7 practices for your day. I’ve been with her ever since. I Am enjoying this new DVD so much that I am practicing longer most days, and feeling better for it. Jane’s clear and patient instruction while setting up and during each pose helps me to know that I’m doing it right. She doesn’t rush between poses. Her explanation of what we’re accomplishing, and just her relaxed and pleasant manner, makes each practice enjoyable.
