Magnolia Kitchen: Inspired Baking with Personality

What can I say?!! This book is a bakers bible! It’s a must buy, with every recipe turning out to perfection!! I started following magnolia kitchen on Instagram and then bought the book, quite weiry on how the recipes would turn out but I’ve tried 6 recipes and all have turned out to perfection and taste GREAT!!

This is such a brilliant book. I’ve followed Bets on Instagram for a long time now and the fact she’s shared all the recipes for the baked good in her cafe is so generous. The recipes are easy, adaptable and include everyday ingredients. There’s even a macaron recipe, where you don’t need to leave them to dry and just put them straight into the oven. Buy the book, support small businesses.... you won’t regret it.

I have followed Bets & Magnolia Kitchen on Instagram for years, so I was pretty excited to get my hands on this. Lovely recipes! If you are a seasoned baker, or have some knowledge, you might question some of the recipes & methods. But don’t (trust me), roll with it because my goodness do they work. The brioche dough has become my favourite brioche recipe. Only criticism is that sometimes it just says ‘flour’, some ingredients could have the specific type.

This book has a lot of key recipes for every baker. And so many important tips and secrets. I absolutely adore this gem.

Best freaking baking book! I love that it’s not formal and that her writing reflects her true self in the sense that she doesn’t censor herself. Makes baking even more enjoyable, when I thought it already couldn’t be!

Good book, not much recipes

Loved this book! Beautiful pictures and amazingly foolproof recipes! My macarons turned out perfectly first time!

Have been following this lady on instagram for a while. Some great reading and recipes ( you have to be careful if its for a younger reader because of the swearing). Tried a couple of the recipes up to know. A good addition to my baking books

This book is awesome, personal, open, recipes are great, approaches are simple but amazing, covering allergy free options too. Best chocolate cake recipe. I also appreciate that the experience is coming from the huge running business, it’s a perfect mix of real but personal. Please please whatever happens publish more books!!!

Das Buch ist super und die Beschreibung für die Herstellung ist sehr genau, die Rezepte sind absolut gelingsicher! Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen. Obwohl das Buch auf English verfasst wurde, werden die Zutaten Mengen in Gramm angegeben. Bets hat einfach einen tollen Humor und man merkt, dass Leidenschaft in dem Buch steckt. Toll sind auch die vielen veganen/glutenfreien Rezepte.

Très beau livre en anglais où l’on retrouve les recettes des gâteaux de Magnolia Kitchen devant lesquels on salive sur Instagram. Le ton décomplexé de Bets rend les instructions ludiques et à la portée de tous les débutants. Livre de qualité avec des pages à l'épreuve des salissures de la cuisine. Je recommande pour avoir les recettes de base à portée de main ou pour rêver devant les très belles photos.
