The bright red really stands out, and it is very refreshing to find a cover without a logo ruining the surface and aesthetic. The cover fits my XS Max perfectly and snugly, while allowing my phone to still feel thin and not bulky like some other covers. The buttons are also smooth and thin and don't protrude much which is good to protect against accidental clicking. I have found that the matte surface of the cover definitely supports a better grip of the phone while also feeling nice in the hand. The inside microfiber cloth bedding is also very nice for the phone. I don't have to worry about dirt or dust getting behind the cover and scratching the back or sides of the phone, which does happen with many plastic covers. The cover is also very sturdy and not flimsy, which makes me confident that this cover would hold up nicely and protect my phone a bit if dropped. This also makes me feel confident in the case's durability. Overall, great value for the cost. This case is definitely an answer to many of the complaints about covers made by other brands. I love this case. The silicone keeps it secure in my back pocket (I’m a jeans girl - no one could ever take it without my feeling it! Lol!). Additionally, many of these silicone cases are open on the bottom in the center section where the charging port and speakers are...which irritates my little fingers as I’m holding it and texting. Totally uncomfortable. I keep buying this case because it goes completely around the phone and is soft to the touch. Love the fact that it’s not slick. I only gave it a four for durability because, if you have it around a year or so, it does start cracking in the corners - it’s inexpensive enough and great enough that I don’t care, but you might.
