Review: Bought in summers of 2014 and 2019; back for more - I bought these in the summer of 2014, another pair in summer of 2019, and just bought another pair this week. I will say that this pair seems a little narrower, but I still love these. I hate flip flops with plastic straps or pleather. They give me blisters. But that’s why I keep coming back to these because the straps are flat and comfortable. The pair I bought in 2019 probably should have been replaced a little sooner. I grew to hate that pair because the strap on the right foot was SO loose (but not the left foot) that they became uncomfortable because I would have to scrunch my toes when I was walking and picked up my right foot so that the flip flop didn’t fly off my foot. Super annoying. But I didn’t realize how long I’d had that pair, so maybe I had overstretched the straps on that one? My kids do love to walk too close to me and definitely have stepped on my heel a few times to the point where the straps kinda hurt because my foot was pulling away (with the straps) while my kid’s foot was on the heel, holding it down and in place. Anyway, I’m very happy with these new ones. The straps are even a little tight, but I’m sure they’ll stretch a little with time (or flat tires from my kids haha). The fabric is really soft and it is nice and wide where it goes along your foot. The soul itself is really soft and squishy. You can wear these all day and still be super comfortable and not get any blisters. They can be a little bit pricey but if you get them on sale, it’s even better definitely worth the buy. They are very slippery until that felt like fabric is wore off. **Q: Are the soles absorbent at all? I have sweaty feet and I need the soles to be absorbent.** A: 100 percent absorbent!! Currently have them in two colors! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PERFECT FOR DISABLED *by P***W on September 5, 2013* I am disabled and in moderate to severe pain on a 24/7 basis. I had one pair of flip flops that I could wear comfortably without pain, but they finally broke. I typed in "flip flops for disabled" to see what would come up and I found these. Usually I don't take a chance on something like this on the Internet, but I was desperate because I don't drive and I was wearing some house slippers which looked really funky. So I took a chance, and I am glad I did. As soon as I put them on, I fell in love! They are so comfortable and they absorb shock really well. I can walk all around and not be in pain from them. I wear size 7, ordered size 7, and the fit is EXACT! They are perfect for me because I don't have to worry about tripping. Sometimes flip flops are a little loose and tend to come off when walking, but not these. In fact, I was wearing a pair of older ones that were a bit loose and got the front part stuck in the corner of a big rug we had on the floor. I went flying into our 54" TV and entertainment system, face first and almost broke my neck. I was injured, but luckily, not enough to go to the hospital. After that, I was afraid to wear any for awhile, because I was just walking across the room at a slow pace when that happened, so it's really important to me to have a pair like these ones now because of the perfect fit. (I'm not able to run, but if I could run, I'm willing to bet that I could run with these on, which isn't an easy thing to do in flip flops). I hope I can find them in other colors too. This is one pair of flip flops that I wont forget. I've already made sure I wrote down the brand name and where I got them so I don't lose the information.
