It has one sorta "spooky" quirk, however.If you leave it plugged in with the power switch on but have stopped it from rotating using the remote control (which is a normal "at rest" task/state), if you have a power outage in the meantime, when the power comes back on all of the sudden the turntable starts rotating all on its own!No harm done. Just use the remote to stop the rotation or shut the whole thing off at the power switch (or unplug the power all together).IOW, don't freak when the turntable is found spinning when you didn't turn it on. Just a quirk of the last remote command being forgotten/overridden when power is interrupted to the main unit, I guess.
